They were blacked out in Berlin, they're freezing to death. Adam Curry John C. Dvorak It's Thursday January 8th 2026 This is your award winning GiveOnNation Media Assassination Episode 1832! This is no agenda Monitoring the mayhem and broadcasting live from the heart of the Texas Hill Country here in FEMA Region number 6. In The Morning everybody, I'm Adam Curry. And from Northern Silicon Valley we're congratulating Montana State and also the Iranian people. I'm John C. Dvorak. Yeah! I love that just throw in a sports thing
The North Sea Nexus quad screen is broadcasting Minnesota 24-7, including the BBC. They have not stopped. Oh yeah! Oh yeah! Oh yeah! Oh yeah! They got their marching orders from Schumer. Oh man... I had this one clip which really says it all just in the intro Now to the protests in Minneapolis and across the country after an immigration agent shot and killed a woman on the street just blocks away from where George Floyd was killed in 2020. That's all, that's all you need to know it was a mile away. It was a complete mile not a couple of blocks but it doesn't even matter that's what this is this is like a fractal
It is a fractal. In an odd way? As long as Walz is governor, they're gonna let it riot. Let them riot! Let them burn the tires! His wife can smell there's burning rubber through the window. It is and it's so interesting that this came right on the heels of Waltz dropping out of uh...of the race like how happy must he be about that where you can leave you know a man of the people A hero, a hero. So this thing the whole thing is sad and the whole thing is nasty and sad but it context is everything in your media is not giving you context they're not showing you The people assaulting these ice agent while salting with snowballs You know just showing you one angle It's like... And also This ice agent yeah I you know if someone trying to run me down with a car I might pull my weapon too
I'm sure he's not feeling great either. Well, he got hit too! Yeah, you could see it but then to triple tap... It's hard to say what you do in a moment like that Every time we see these cops shooting they unload the gun if they can Well, I think it's 1-2-3. That seems to be kind of the training that's like... It seems like it kicks in and that's what he did What was interesting with this story that hasn't been told yet is that this woman... Wait! What's her name?
good. No, you have to say her name. Say her name! Renee Good! It is exactly the George Floyd stuff it's a carbon copy although it's not a man as a woman and she was white but her wife I don't think this was told yet. Her wife is the one who told her to come down and lead this protest, and she was! She was leading the protest blocking ICE it's like... Well here i have a clip that explains some of that This is from Jesse Waters he didn't have any trouble saying she was a lesbian Where is it on here? Minnesota shooting Jeff
I don't see it. Woman backgrounder, ah there it is. Kristi Noem who was in Minneapolis today overseeing operations is describing it as an act of domestic terrorism. Multiple eyewitnesses have confirmed that this activist was screaming yelling disrupting ICE operations all day one witness says she was the main car leading the protests Do you know if she was the target? I don't know if she was a target. They clearly wanted her out of there because she was the main car leading the protest is my understanding, and talked to another guy who's driving behind her but she was very successful in blocking traffic She was doing what she set out to do and so they wanted to get her the hell out of there
The woman who lost her life was a self-proclaimed poet from Colorado with pronouns in her bio. A 37 year old white woman named Renee Good, the Daily Mail says she leaves behind a lesbian partner and a child from a previous marriage She was a disrupter though she considered herself a legal observer but there's no evidence she had a law degree different angles show different things. You can see here the officer was actually hit by the car. Yeah, even the angle that's I mean if you don't have the context then of what he just said that that was good context she was leading it the whole day when did people
Become so emboldened and Chicago does this too that they think they can just assault the ice officers But how does that happen? And in what world do you think that that can't turn out bad. This was discussed in a couple of different By a couple of different people claiming that this only takes place This never happens in an area where you don't have political cover where it's encouraged by the governor in this case and Minnesota encourages it. They say get to put your body on the line, really? Yeah! Wow that do you have any clips of that I'd love to have that. Well I have a bunch of analysis from NTD that might have something to do with it let's play these clips this is a Minnesota shooting
analysis and TD joining us now is Kyle Shidler director and senior analyst for Homeland Security encounter terrorism at the Center for security policy He's also the editor of the book unmasking Antifa five perspectives on a growing threat Kyle Thank you for joining us tonight. Now tensions are already beginning to flare in Minnesota following this killing with protesters this afternoon showing aggression towards police driving them out of the crime scene In your assessment, though what are the chances this shooting sparks retaliation from anti-ICE and other far left groups? And what could this look like? Well I think it's probable. We have already seen in some far left extremist social media calls to use arms
to pick up arms against police in response to this incident. So the rhetoric is certainly hot, it is certainly there we've seen attacks violent perpetrated ambushes against ICE officers uh...in the past already so it's certainly within skill set of some of these far-left extremist actors Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Fry this afternoon accused federal immigration agents of quote causing chaos. He said Minneapolis is demanding ICE to leave the city immediately What do you make of the mayor's response seemingly putting the blame on federal agents here? Look, none of this would be happening if the state of Minnesota and the city of Minneapolis did not illegally act as a sanctuary city trying to shield criminal illegal aliens from deportation. If they cooperated with the federal government and federal law enforcement in upholding immigration law, as do most of the states in this country, they wouldn't be having these kinds of situations
They deliberately inflame these situations with their sanctuary city policies. And then when federal law enforcement attempts to uphold the laws they're sworn to do, they take the side of radical protesters against the federal government. expound further on the Antifa angle because, you know that's kind of cropping up everywhere. Germany has been out of... parts of Berlin have been on a blackout because Antifa as they say has been blowing up power plants using some kind of relatively sophisticated method I mean this could be more of a worldwide problem
Which I peed myself squarely on. Well it wouldn't surprise me if it was worldwide, there was an antifa flag in uh what protest was it? It was it was one of the was either. It wasn't the Venezuela and now it was I doubt that I can't remember, but II took a screenshot of it. I didn't follow up Well done well done yeah You know there's only so much stuff you could do I didn't get any of the Berlin stuff And Mimi is always hounding me they were blacked out in Berlin their freezing to death yes Yeah, it's true. It's bad. But you know it's only so many hours in the day to get this research but let's go with... I got two more clips from this guy. All right here we go. Now Minnesota Governor Tim Walz this afternoon announced that he issued a warning order to prepare the Minnesota National Guard to quote protect Minnesotans from rogue ICE agents how do
How would an order like this work, ordering state law enforcement to act against federal law enforcement? Well in practice I don't see much likelihood of that being the case. In all likelihood I think probably Governor Walz is trying to get ahead of President Trump ordering the Minnesota National Guard to Minneapolis by having the state activate them first. Oh yeah. I don't anticipate that there being a real probability of conflict between the National Guard and federal law enforcement. In most cases, they have very good cooperating relationship if need be President Trump could certainly federalize the Minnesota National Guard if Governor Walz was to attempt to use it in a way to prohibit federal law enforcement officers from doing their job that certainly has
as sort of shades of some of the incidents in the 1960s where the federal government deployed National Guard and even active military forces to some other southern states, to uphold civil rights legislation and to enforce desegregation. So Tim Walz really is finding himself on the wrong side of history here with some of his rhetoric. Let me just play some of that rhetoric I think it's like a minute here at the end of this clip of what he said because you made it sound very different than our analysts here. We won't let them tear us apart, we'll not turn against each other to Minnesotans I say this i feel your anger I'm angry they want to show we can't give it to them we cannot if you can't give them what are on our side
To Americans, I ask you this. Please stand with Minneapolis. To Donald Trump and Kristi Noem, You've done enough! There's nothing more important than Minnesota safety. I have issued a warning order to prepare the Minnesota National Guard We have soldiers in training and prepared to be deployed if necessary. A warning order is a heads up for folks And these National Guard troops are our National Guard troops. They're teachers in your community, they're business owners, they're construction professionals...they are Minnesotans! Minnesota will not allow our community to be used as a prop in a national political fight we will not take the bait." So he's saying hey you know these are our people they're gonna go fight the government forces? Yeah sure they are But but the president can nationalize them
I don't think he needs to because there's none of this is gonna happen. This is all talk Yeah Well, it's all unfortunate. The whole thing is just... It sucks! And now there's a guy with the Black Lives Matter t-shirt? Okay, alright. Oh you're still looking at the quad screen? How can you not?! It's like nonstop and oh it's like a loop over and over again Alright, we're programmed We get it This is all designed to get more votes for the midterm elections Absolutely So your quad screens are open desperate to get the Democrats back in. You know what's interesting? Ever since the Venezuela op, it is so apparent and it's kind of good that we deconstruct media... It is so apparent that the mainstream media despite their low viewership, the incessant repetition and breadth of where they can post and broadcast
It does determine the narrative of the podcast circle jerk. They all immediately switch, like no one's talking about Israel where is the Mossad in all this? Charlie Kirk he's dead and gone we don't talk about that I mean you know we don't even care about the Macron brothers All this stuff it just... In one fell swoop it's all gone And interestingly The biggest story, which of course is Venezuela and the fallout from that and the subsequent Cuba, Colombia, Greenland. We'll talk about that That also just whoop! Just all wiped off the table now it's all George Floyd II It's insane And just listen to the podcast That's all they're talking about because they've got to go on the narrative Maybe its because their doing a show every day If we had to do this show everyday I guess we'd do the same
Be like, what's going on man? Well this is the hot news everyone talking about. Yeah well here's the... yeah you actually might be right because if we did a show every day we couldn't do any research No! You and I would just be talking Yeah, which is what most podcasts do. Let's yak-yak-yak about something! What do you see on TV? Well let me yak about that! Whoa, what is Matt Walsh saying? Whoa, what is Tucker saying? Whoa, what is Alex Jones talking about?! Okay, here we go. Last of these analysis clips on this. Well most regular Americans would never harm law enforcement how in your experiences this kind of messaging interpreted by already radical individuals? Well I think what it sends the message is that if they act if they attempt to foment a riot or an unlawful assembly they can expect some level of political cover
Where far left extremists think that they will get political cover from local or state politicians, they have a tendency to be a little bit more aggressive. We've certainly seen that in the case of Portland and Oregon and Seattle in Washington State For example, in places where they know they will not get political cover these sorts of protests tend to be disrupted relatively early. They tend to stay more peaceful and I think it really is important for the politicians in some of these areas to get out ahead of this stuff and say look You know, you can have whatever political opinion you want. You are allowed to be upset. You are allowed to protest lawfully but we will not countenance any criminal activity and we will not countenance rioting or attacking police officers whether local state or federal." It's interesting what you said about doing research
I was talking to Tina about the history of Venezuela, which we talked about on last episode. And she says well how come Megan Kelly? She has a staff! Millions of dollars! Which may or may not be true...I don't know But how come they have staffs? How come they don't do this?" I said, because that's not... Because they're dumb. They're no good! They just about click something. No good. That's the real reason. They're no good. They just want clicks and smash that subscribe button and watch my clips Nobody watches a full Megyn Kelly anymore. They just watch the clip on YouTube which I don't even think she can monetize properly. I noticed this too. I didn't realize because you know still
Looking at Fuentes now and again, and the clips that he does the same thing. And all these negative things that everyone thinks about Fuentes... It's all from the clips? It's all from his own clips that HE did! Yeah, it's good! It's not somebody else doing the clips He purposely puts together clips that are taken out of- he takes his own stuff This is genius in some funny way Oh! He takes his own material out of context Yeah, and then posts it Well, and I guess everybody all riled up. Yeah And then you know you actually go and watch it It's like ah, i'm tired. I mean there is nothing to watch really he's someone that just want to listen too I can't watch him this dude behind a desk for two-and-a-half hours Imagine if we had video people like what is this? What are these boomers doing? I don't wanna watch that
Unless you were smoking cigars. I want to play this response from Kristi Noem, who I just find to be such an interesting character because now she's got a big cowboy hat! Yeah she likes getting... She's like a cosplayer wannabe. She's always dressed up. She wears the DHS uniform. Camo, camo. You should wear a bulletproof vest during a press conference. So she's dressed like the sheriff, I don't know... She is a fascinating person to look at and here is what she said. You asked about a shooting that we just had in Minneapolis Minnesota it was an act of domestic terrorism?
What happened was our ICE officers were out in enforcement action. They got stuck in the snow because of the adverse weather that is in Minneapolis, they were attempting to push out their vehicle and a woman attacked them and those surrounding them and attempted to run them over and rammed them with her vehicle An officer of ours acted quickly and defensively shot to protect himself and the people around him. And my understanding is that she was hit and is deceased We're continuing to gather more information, but this goes to show the assaults that our ICE officers in our law enforcement are under every single day These vehicle ramming's are domestic acts of terrorism
We're working with the Department of Justice to prosecute them as such. We will continue to protect our ICE officers and in- How does she get domestic terrorism out of this? Unless it's political, I just don't see the connection Doesn't terrorism by definition have to have a political... well i guess it is in a way It's about the midterms. I think it's a stretch. Yeah, feels like that too. Operation with other law enforcement agencies as well you've seen me in the last couple of days deploy over 2 000 more officers to the Minneapolis area and in the last two days we've arrested hundreds and hundreds of dangerous criminals not just fraudsters who stole from the American people billions of dollars and put it in their pockets and enriched their friends from overseas and themselves but also individuals
who committed acts of murder and rape and trafficking, drug exploitation and child exploitation. So we're going to continue doing our work. And I want to remind everybody that the act like we saw today of using a vehicle to try to kill an officer and his colleagues and the other people around him is something Every politician, every elected official everyone in this country should be able to rally around and say that it is wrong. And that sanctuary cities and sanctuary states that protect individuals who do that should no longer be allowed
So, that is the—I'd just call it the counter-narrative at this point if you look at the media. And of course I'm sure that Candace and the folks at Redacted will be examining every frame of the video bringing in the experts. Did he hit her? Did she him him? Did she not hit him with a wheels turned in the right direction? It's so out of context. Here's the narrative being launched by the mayor. Jacob Frey, I think he's the mayor right in Minneapolis. Yeah guy He's on with pooper mayor appreciate you talking to us You heard the comments from President Trump from Secretary Nome they said the ICE officer acted in self-defense There's obviously a huge disagreement about what the videos show have you completely made up your mind or do you still have questions?
Well, we know what his mind is at. I'm not going to preempt the investigation that will be taking place, I am told by the Bureau of Criminal Apprehension at the state but I got two eyes and saw the same videos that you saw and the notion that this is domestic terrorism on the form of the victim Yeah, it's positively ridiculous. I mean the way that ICE is behaving is reckless not just in this incident but numerous others and here's the thing The chief and I have been saying not just privately but very publicly for well over a month That something like this was going to happen either a civilian police officer or even an ice agent getting injured badly or killed
And so, look I saw exactly what happened. What you saw was the victim taking at least like a three point turn this was clearly not with any sort of intention to run somebody over but to get out of there and You don't need legal degree to know that does not authorize the use of deadly force This is the narrative based upon the video we all saw the video didn't you? I saw it with my own two eyes So that is the counter narrative, or the narrative I should say. It's like she was trying to get away now but there's no context of what happened before. Now i've got another clip here from this guy
Secretary Noem criticized you directly in a news conference a short time ago. I just want to play that and let you respond Yeah, why does it take so long to start your clips? Because Governor Walz and Mayor Frey refused to protect Minnesotans And instead they protect these criminals That's why we are here! We didn't just show up yesterday...we've always been here By not working with us Governor Walz and Mayor Frey are putting those criminals and prioritizing them over our children and our grandchildren The Secretary's adamant ICE is staying, you're calling for ICE to leave. What happens now? And what do you say to her accusation? First off when I hear that sounds like someone who does not believe a word she is saying. We have worked with federal agencies by the way.
This is a good clip. Yeah, this guy he's amazing this guy I mean he he's the liar actually around Investigating violent crime preventing narcotics trade getting guns off the street We've worked with the US Attorney's Office substantially we've driven down crime on the north side for instance Crime is and specifically shootings are at an historic low so look look what pro law enforcement were anti-violating the Constitution. We're anti-crime, but we're pro getting ICE out of here because I gotta say they are causing so many problems in our city. You know the stated reason again is safety but what we are seeing is that they are tearing families apart. Finally we are seeing people that are terrified to go outside and go their local businesses and now exactly what we said would likely happen happened. I hate to be right here.
There was there's also another narrative. Hate to be right! Yeah, there's another narrative launched by what's his name here? This is Hakeem Jeffries let's listen to him first up representative Hakeem Jeffries of New York leader of the House Democrats I spoke with him this afternoon and started by asking his assessment of what happened in Minneapolis today There is no evidence that has been presented to justify the shooting of an unarmed woman resulting in her unnecessary death. Kristi Noem, the so-called Secretary of Homeland Security. What? So called! So called?! That's her job she got the job she was approved by Congress She is not so called. This guy is the worst. He's great Is a stone cold liar who has zero credibility on this issue or any other issues and what we need as I believe the governor has indicated
is a full and complete investigation. This rogue ICE agent who pulled the trigger should be criminally... This is the narrative he's playing. They used rogue in the other clip, somebody else used it. Rogue was the... That came out of Minnesota, I think even Walsh used it. Rogue! Yes, rogue you went rogue This rogue ICE agent who pulled the trigger should be criminally investigated to the full extent of the law including for demonstrating a depraved indifference to human life
Alright, so it's all very sad. Nobody wins in this one But in the meantime there is so much going on in Minnesota The Minnesota Department of Health and Human Services has done an audit I think this came out on the 6th And here's the lady who is running this audit. It's pretty interesting. Another sobering report by the Office of the Legislative Auditor, this one concerning the Behavioral Health Administration within the Department of Human Services which issues grants to providers treating mental health and drug and alcohol addiction hundreds of millions of dollars each year The audit found them issuing grants to applicants without a bidding process So what we saw is that there was multiple entities
could have been eligible and they chose not to provide a justification for why they were picking those. This report is quite stunning One outrageous example, the auditors found a grantee that was paid $672,000 for one month of work without any info on what they do And the audit says, the grant manager who paid it then left DHS a couple days later and became a paid consultant for that company. That's what you do! To me that is criminal Auditor Judy Randall says she was most shocked that during the audit multiple DHS managers backdated or created new documents to try and cover their tracks Frankly in the 27 plus years I've been with OLA
I have never seen this before. I will say we have had suspicions periodically, but we've never been able to prove it and document it and we did in this case. And its very troubling. Temporary DHS Commissioner Shereen Gandhi's response... I was shocked to hear this information at the exit conference And it is absolutely unacceptable that any staff would provide anything other than accurate representation of the work done to an auditor. Yeah, so the whole... and this is not just Minnesota's has got to be everywhere. It's just everywhere I have a clip called Diefraudsters clip covers this little bit because adds a couple of items
But I like the way they use, the intermixing of using Department of Health and Human Services DHS with Department of Homeland Security in their mind is all DHS is corrupt. Yeah we have too many acronyms. Well I mean you don't have enough apparently! Let's listen to The Fraudsters clip House lawmakers on the oversight committee are exposing a multi-billion dollar fraud scheme taking place in Minnesota. Around nine billion dollars meant to support Minnesota programs may have been stolen since 2018, a federal prosecutor reported last month. House Republicans on the committee this morning criticized Minnesota officials for not acting quickly enough to stop it. Governor Tim Walz Attorney General Keith Ellison and Minnesota's Democrat leadership have either been asleep at the wheel or complicit
in these crimes. The child care fraud scheme was first exposed more than a decade ago between 2011 and 2013, but one state lawmaker who appeared as a witness today said that those who tried to initially report the fraud faced government retaliation They revealed that retaliation now includes threats of being fired with cause which means you do not get unemployment insurance in the state of Minnesota Being blacklisted from all state agencies The Democrats witness a former DOJ official push back on the idea that fraudsters haven't faced repercussions, highlighting the consequences that some have faced so far. The department has charged over a dozen people for stealing $14 million from a program meant for children with autism? The state's governor Tim Walz has repeatedly defended his handling of the fraud crisis but since the crisis has been exposed on the national scale, Walz has since dropped his re-election campaign for a third term
Some Republicans aim to expose that some of the stolen money was used to fund Democrat politicians, even the state's attorney general. Did money flow to Mr. Ellison campaign a couple weeks later from some of the folks who were in that meeting? Sure did How much do we know how much it was I do not have that number so wasn't just wasn't just overlooking the fraud. They were actively trying to make sure this program continued and then they benefited from that politically with contributions to their campaign all in this same year, all in 2021. You know it's who is that again? Who does that voice? That was Jordan Yeah I mean he's got a calm down. I like the fact of what he's saying
But no one listens to that anymore. Well it doesn't make any difference what they do. Comer was the earlier guy who said something. These guys are do-nothing Republicans, they make a big fuss, they get their clips on air... Clips! Who gets arrested? That's my point is old fashioned like if you really want to do something speak like a normal human being Stop with the print preening and the clip moments. Yeah, yeah. And then in a perfect like almost... Even if they spoke like normal human beings they still wouldn't do anything. No that's true
Yes, then it's all about the midterms and then in the perfect almost proof of the simulation we get Dr. Oz who is you know he's a good looking guy He's not an ugly politician He's now in the administration and he knows how to read a prompter. And like, wow! Everything has become show business At CMS and HHS we're increasingly worried about the deep rot within Minnesota's Medicaid and social services system which are supposed to protect the most vulnerable Americans The more we uncover it, the more becomes clear It is much worse than what was led us believe by state government officials
We'd previously learned that illegal immigrants were still getting care with an allegedly state only Medicaid programs. They were actually using federal taxpayer funds and because of that, we already withheld $1.3 billion from California, Illinois and yes Minnesota which always seems to show up on the list of states with the worst fraud waste and abuse but this is only the tip of the iceberg for Minnesota We have an unfortunate announcement for the Walsh administration. They have to admit they were warned. Last month, we instructed the Walsh administration to produce a corrective action plan by the end of the year which we received late New Year's Eve and found... And he sounds like Hegg Seth now you know that they're all made for TVing. Millieu. Millieu yes. ... insufficient We don't want to hear for example that your state law doesn't allow you to protect federal taxpayers from Somali fraud
And we want a sense of urgency. I keep waiting for him to say, we'll be right back after this break. As well as clear milestones told Minnesota accountable on progress enough is enough I just notified Governor Walz, we will begin auditing Medicaid receipts and defer paying on claims based on fraud waste and abuse. Until we can verify what is legitimate We're going to defer payments for the 14 programs that the state itself identified as rife with fraud That figure could be in the hundreds of millions of dollars If the state cannot get a handle on this fraud
As we find more, we intend to withhold more payments moving forward until the state cleans up its act. Why don't they just withhold all funds? Can they do that because you say we're just not going to give... And by the way why are my tax dollars going to Minnesota health care I don't understand That's that's to me is the scandal take care of your own people We got our troubles here in Texas and what an opportunity I've missed to open up my own a facility for Tourette's sufferers. There you go! They should have made a bundle. Yeah, yeah. Dumb So the president is also very worried about the midterms
And he's, I watched the whole speech he did for the GOP off-site. The funny one that had all of jokes in it? Yeah! But thing is if you want to clip anything from it, he starts with a serious topic and then he just whoop! He's going off cracking jokes. You know what I want to say about Republicans in the midterms they're not handling this right They're handling as though they got it that they're gonna win the midterms. Well, they're moronic if they believe that but there I don't know whether they believe it or not. I didn't say they believed it. That's the way their act...their pretending, I think pretending because they have to be they can't be this stupid. They're pretending they're going to wipe the floor with the Democrats in the midterms and so they are exuding
The message that's going out is don't worry about voting, yeah we're gonna win anyway. Instead of trying to pay what they should be doing is scaring the Republicans and making them panic that they're gonna lose and the rest in the next two years after 2027-2028 are gonna be just nothing but impeach impeach impeach you know it and impede and and just screw up the whole thing is over. I mean basically, Democrats are throwing a wrench in the works. Well this was...I'm sorry But they keep acting as though they're going to... They should be panicking! Well i think there's probably a large number of Republicans who have
Let's just sit it out for a couple more years vibe. I truly believe that like this just all sucks Trump is unpredictable he's not playing the game, we're used to and so let's just sit him out. To sit him out doesn't matter you know Well, you know okay so maybe- Yeah we got through four years of Biden. We can get through three years of Trump. It's not just wait it out but in fact the president said exactly what you just said You gotta win the midterms because if we don't win the midterms it's just gonna be I mean they'll find a reason to impeach me uh I'll get impeached. We don't impeach them you know why? Because they're meaner than we are. We should have impeached Joe Biden for 100 different things
They are mean and smart, but fortunately for you they have horrible policy. They can be smart as can be But when they want open borders, when they want as I said men and women's sports. When they want transgender for everyone! Bring your kids in we're gonna change the sex of your child He was in rare form but it was just too... even the jokes shaggy dog for five six minutes before he got to the punchline but he said one thing And I agree on him with him, particularly since right now they're in the House doing the important people's work on voting on the health care extension subsidies. No idea how that's going to turn out
But and he's oh man. He does such a poor job of explaining things he just His sound bites are the worst because I know what he I think I know what he's trying to say, but this is how it comes out I read a story about insurance companies making a fortune a fortune If the stocks were up 1700%, who invested recently in a stock that's up 17? Instead of just saying Nancy Pelosi, which is what he means here. He doesn't say that. Doesn't say who invested in these healthcares and made all that money. Who invested recently in this stock that's up 17?
And that's because the money that they're getting from Obamacare is massive. And the government generally, that means they're making a fortune. I came out with a statement let the money go not to the big fat cats in the insurance companies that made 1700% over the last short period of time. Let the money go directly to the people where they can buy their own healthcare and And I don't think, I'm not sure that I've ever said anything that was more impactful. You know, I say a lot of things and have a lot of good ideas...
And this was an idea that, I mean... The whole world went crazy. The whole country went crazy! The world went crazy with envy If you can somehow do that Mr Speaker Tom all of you Steve if you can do that You're gonna have- This is going to be your issue The funny thing is That you don't have to wait for that to happen I mean, it's been...I've just been studying this since we...two and a half years ago. I got on the...what is it? The Ministry of Health...Healthcare Ministries or whatever it's called. Tina has got Crowdhealth
You know, these crowdfunding initiatives are doing so well. They're giving you the first three months free! Like you don't have to pay for the first three months. And you can do it in California? That's right. There may be other states but yeah, you can't do it in California because you get dinged. Yeah a thousand dollars... But even that's worth it Well, if you calculate it but nobody's they don't see it that way. No I understand why should they get dinged at all? They shouldn't but that's a state law and who is putting up with that Californians. No! Well the point is... Mail-in ballots, it's not anybody in California that likes the idea I understand what you're saying It's a corrupt election system in California Washington and Oregon they're all mail-in ballot states My point is why doesn't the president bring a couple of these companies in to explain how its already working because really we've saved
like twelve thousand dollars more probably. Yeah, no it would be great they don't do that I've always wondered you know if you remember either you probably don't Ross Perot ran for president now what we got here you see on my blackboard is here's the money coming in and here's the money going out would he would have these little charts just like you tried to do there. I did quite well. Yeah, not bad! He's screechy but he would show a little chart and it would explain him not just one or two but constantly show these little charts that were what do you call them when we have an example that people can visualize? A chart
Well, I know there's a word for it. A Venn diagram. No, as an influential tool. Anyway, meme. Cartoon! I'm running out of ideas. Stop and so he would show these little charts and diagrams and explain very carefully what they meant And then you could look at him and understand Yeah Nobody has done that since it's just beyond me Well the reason why is because Trump should know that He's been told if he was going to believe God saved his life It was when he was looking at one of the few charts he's ever used. He turned his head to point out the chart, showing the immigration chart that still uses it today, showing a drop in immigration and he turns his head and misses a bullet. Well maybe that was the sign to use these charts more!
It is quite baffling. Okay, so Sir By His Grace saying that's because he's in on it! I don't know...I think this is just... He's in on it? Oh yeah sure. I don't think so. He doesn't care. All right no but what boggles my mind is the fact that you can already opt out of the system today And it works. It's fantastic I'm just blown away and now if i could get a thousand bucks or 500 on or nothing give me nothing, I'm fine. It cost me five hundred bucks max per thing that happens and you help out other people, and so you're still out a couple thousand dollars. That's what insurance is supposed to do by the way! But it's the people's insurance... Yeah but that's what insurance is supposed to be Well its not! And if you look at... Well there ya go Why is that? Well, and here's my next question why did drug companies not try to cure people they just want to keep them on drugs The whole system's corrupt Insurance is corrupt and so are drugs But instead of going fighting ICE fight the system people gosh
And doesn't Berkshire Hathaway, isn't their main business reinsurance? So insuring the insurance companies. I don't think it's...I think it is just pure insurance. Okay, so one share of Berkshire Hathaway went from like 50 bucks to 750 thousand bucks? That should give you a clue about how well the insurance business works and by the way, I think a lot of these insurers are tied back to Lloyds and Barclays You know that's all theft from the North Sea Nexus as far as I'm concerned
And of course, these are the companies that kick back to election campaigns. I need to look up some of those clips where politicians are saying well there's just one thing you don't touch in Washington and you don't say anything about the insurance companies and the same goes for pet... You get your funding cut off? Yes! It's like pet insurance. I think Obama was the number one in all of history recipient of insurance. Getting the most insurance money? Well, of course he did Obamacare which was literally putting money in their pocket! Yeah... So I'm just saying it's like opt out of the system people do it already but yes The president should totally and don't even claim your time just buy some time Buy some time out of your own pocket and do a 20-minute podcast
on TV and get some charts. Now, he could... I'm sure he could do it! You're right! He did that... Oh, I love this is a beautiful chart! This chart saved my life! Well save the midterms and do some charts. Yeah, and they're gonna have their asses handed to him because Schumer is outflanking me even though Schumer's pulling stunt after stunt like this. The latest thing with the stupid candlelight vigil which was pathetic But but they gave these speeches I do have a clip from it This is Jeffries talking about the cat now talk about a liar
Jeffrey's comes in first Schumer comes out and bitches and moans about Trump being a horrible guy. And he's instigated January 6th, which is a fraud if ever there was. And so now Jeffrey comes out and listen to his discussion of how fantastic the Capitol Police were for more than five hours they were forced to engage in hand-to-hand combat confronting thousands of bloodthirsty rioters who were unleashed by Donald Trump. They were beaten with pipes, whipped, assaulted by bear spray and pummeled by Confederate flag poles. They were bloodied but unbound. We owe these heroes an eternal debt of gratitude and will never forget their service and their sacrifice had it not been for their bravery
on that fateful day. I would have been dead! Many of us would not be alive right now Wow, he caught it Of course well and then in true Republican Party fashion You know, I know what we'll do. We'll get him! We're gonna change our website! Today is the five-year anniversary of a deadly assault on the US Capitol by a mob that was trying to overturn the results of the 2020 presidential election and there's a fresh attempt by the Trump administration of trying to alter the facts of what happened on that day A new page on the White House website mischaracterizes several of the events. The site accuses Capitol Police of escalating tensions and also accuses the Democrats of staging the real insurrection. There was no official event to memorialize this day in 2021 when a mob stormed down Pennsylvania Avenue and breached the Capitol as lawmakers fled instead
A march took place today made up of dozens of people who were charged in those riots, but later pardoned by President Trump. Yeah, this was quite they had time. These are all pre-packaged of course because they were ready for it so didn't matter what happened in Minnesota and doesn't matter there or but what we got on the calendar Bob? Oh he got to we got the anniversary of January 6th oh good let's do some packages yeah I gotta package you know what i'm gonna get Pelosi on joining me now is House Speaker Emeritus Nancy Pelosi Democrat from California It's great to see you. I know this day is so difficult for everybody who lives in this city and... It was so difficult for everybody who lives in this city! And, I thought of you a lot today. I knew I was going to talk to you but just given everything that happened, everything we all watched and now we have the current House Speaker refusing to put it back together. So she's out with Saki? That's Jen Saki Oh yeah, she's going primetime and of course
Nobody watches that show. No, but the argument is over well they were supposed to put up a plaque and they didn't put up the plaque now this is a good be okay yeah this is very funny current House speaker refusing to put it commemorative black we have Donald Trump who's of course present again still lying about 2020 sitting with you five years later. Well today is an emotional day for all of us, five years since the president of the United States incited an insurrection on the Capitol on the Congress on the Constitution and she noticed bringing just they completely
change history back to where they want it. It was an insurrection. On our ability to honor our oath of office, uh- To certify the election of the president by way of certifying the uh... Electoral College What was sad is that this president refused to send The National Guard He keeps saying oh I wanted it but they didn't wanna make- It's amazing! It just- It just- It's just amazing. It's mocking them Have you seen the White House meme clip that they put out? No Where they clipped that little part there, then they clipped the part from the movie her daughter made where Nancy says yeah I could have sent you to National Guard but it never did. Yeah. Nancy they didn't want it his own Secretary of Defense testified under oath that was not true
Well, he is not under oath so he just lies lies lies. But what's important is our democracy. What happened then was horrible. It was horrible. Confederate fags under Lincoln's dome the dome that Lincoln built to you... Hold on a second! The dome that Lincoln build? I have a feeling that lasted a couple of presidencies He didn't build the dome, okay. No, he hand-built it himself What? Well no, Lincoln himself actually from scratch He poured the cement... He put it up, he engineered it.. He's an engineer! He is a structural engineer everybody knows that And then the blacks did too The black slaves Of course funny enough It was completed under Monroe The predecessor to the Donro
under Lincoln's dome, the dome that Lincoln built while he was unifying. She just makes stuff up as she goes along. Yeah it's great. Unity of our country together. Why don't they call it Lincolns Dome? Together, our union together and this president for some reason decided that he was going incite an insurrection, lie about it because he couldn't face the fact that he was not elected president of the United States. I mean it's what you do but just show everybody every like he's lying and he's lying let me lie
It's great. You know, it's just... and Saki just sits there and she nodding her head She lives in DC! She is useless I don't understand how she gets work Well what do you mean? Of course if you do that we could- you and i could have a show on Ms Now Ms now If we did that Just do that. Oh yes, it's so hard I mean now that we live in DC we really make more money. Our rent will be higher but but we'd make a lot more money if we did that. But missing from all this the same day did you see the announcement from Levitt on Tulsi Gabbard's declassification? Yes i did!
You have a clip. Well, unfortunately it's long but she is good speaker and we can cut it off or stop wherever you want. Over the past few days Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard has unveiled shocking new evidence that former President Barack Obama Obama and top aides in the Obama administration conspired to subvert President Trump's 2016 election victory, and undermine the democratic will of the American people. While publicly pretending to engage in a peaceful transfer of power, in private former President Obama went to great and nefarious lengths to try to sow discord among the public and sabotage his successor, President Trump.
The new evidence released by the director of national intelligence who is here with me today confirms that the Obama administration manufactured politicized intelligence, which was later used as a justification for baseless smears against President Trump in an effort to try to delegitimize his victory before he even took the oath of office. The truth is that President Trump never had anything to do with Russia. And the Russia collusion hoax was a massive fraud, perpetuated on the American people from the very beginning and the worst part of this is Obama knew that truth and so did all of the other corrupt officials involved in this scam including former CIA Director John Brennan, former director of national intelligence James Clapper,
FBI Director James Comey, former Deputy Director Andrew McCabe and many others. So I expect these people to be indicted! Do you think that will happen? That's a good one. So they're just doing talk and they're not going to do anything? Well, of course we knew all this already in one way or another... Of course we knew this! We knew it for a long time but- You are a conspiracy theorist! Okay But now that Gabber has brought out the, she's declassified a bunch of stuff which indicates this is true It doesn't, nobody picked it up. You know you're playing the one clip that says it all and she's at the press conference she's talking to the mainstream media right in front of her. Oh she even blames them too! Where is this story? Do you see a story on the front page of New York Times about this? No I still see a car in the snow on the quad screen
No, of course not. Because she also calls them out. She calls out the New York Times, The Wall Street Journal. She calls out reporters and you can go look at or listen to the clip in the show notes. By the way I have a new feature for the show notes. I now am posting all the sources to the clips in the show notes which is handy so you get the clips so you can do your own podcast. I see what you're doing over there and now you also get the sources But of course, those are prone to change because you know how that works. You may just go away. But yeah it's... Will the Department of... Are there not thousands of sealed indictments? I mean will the Department of Justice not do something? It seems like you're going through just have Caroline leave it and say it and then nothing happens. That would surprise me. Wouldn't surprise me!
Bloomberg, by the way had a story this morning that Tulsi Gabbard was not as the national security advisor Was not included in the Venezuela op and the joke according to Bloomberg going around DC is DNI stands for do-not invite I'm like that's kind of interesting Of course, you know once a Democrat you can never really be trusted I guess. The less people that know about these things, the better. And because it's obvious that Congress in particular there are a bunch of we have... That's the enemy within let me just play this clip this is the very short discussion of the War Powers Act which was passed since 1973 has been around for
50 years and it's what the president uses to do this stuff even though everyone says oh you can't do this, you can't do that. Yes you can and here is the short explanation of the whole thing. The War Powers Act states that notification should be made to Congress within 48 hours following the initiation of hostilities In addition, the military must leave the country within 60 days unless Congress provides a declaration of war. According to House Speaker Mike Johnson the military has already left Venezuela. Yeah! There you go it's within law And they briefed congress after that fact It has to be within 48 hours not before They don't need congressional approval
It's right in the War Powers Act that Congress passed. So this is all posturing. Trump used an antiquated document, a little huge law... It's used all the time. So it was used by Obama, it was used by Clinton to bomb Bosnia. It was used by Clinton to... I get no is who is a Obama to bomb Libya? Yeah, it was used over and over again that he was used to get Noriega. I mean, it's not new but yeah, oh, it's unconstitutional! I didn't clip any but I love seeing clips of
Obama and Biden talking about Venezuela, you know. Well they put sanctions... Remember Guaido? Remember that gambit? They put in an Obamalike guy and no one even looked at him No one came to the rallies He went to the- He was a Venezuelan Obama Yeah didn't he go to Congress? Oh yes! Guaido oh yes Guaido he's the man he's gonna do it Guaido Whatever happened to him? CIA op They just threw By the way Just on CIA ops for a second. You know JD fat JT Now I have him in my in my algo Thanks, so you're getting the fat getting the fat JD's? I'm even getting pretty good dancer that I'm getting fat JDs in bikinis It is very disturbing Mike my algos of cross When he was an anti-trumper do you know who we endorsed for president it was either Rand Paul no nope
Uh, uh... Ted Cruz. Nope! No? It was that dude from Utah the CIA guy Really?! Yes he endorsed him That makes me question Vance Well, yeah. Well a lot of people question Vance. Because he's fat? I think he was on Jesse Waters' show last night Spencer Cox that's the games guy Yeah Spencer Cox and he is a smooth talker I have to say give him credit for that He is not a good tweeter He tweeted some stuff He's not a good tweeter You can't be president No
He doesn't quite know what he's doing. He should shut up about the Minnesota shooting for stars Well, that's...he's been given that portfolio. He was on all the quad screens this morning I didn't clip it because it was too close to the show But he is..that's in his portfolio. He doesn't get Venezuela. He doesn't get Greenland. He gets Minnesota So I think he's kind of being sidelined a little bit feels like I don't think he's getting sidelined. He's getting more airtime than before, they just gave him an assignment. But for minor stuff... Yeah it's like who wants that aside? Go stand with Kristi Noem! She wearing a hat. I can't see her eyes. She's on a horse So i just love the fallout from Venezuela and now Greenland And I gotta play this clip because I was watching a lot of the financial stuff This is Squawk Box Europe
which of course is rife with City of London operatives. Listen to this Brit freak out! What world do we live in where America is potentially threatening or refusing to rule out military action on Denmark? an ally on an area where they can actually put as many troops there anyway. They could have as many deals to extract resources they want anywhere, almost certainly but they won't have military action. But that is not even the most gobsmacking of these headlines which is an extraordinary state of affairs. The fact that all pretense that this extraction of Maduro was about the
this extraction of Maduro was about narco-terrorism or bringing a drug kingpin to justice is just completely out the window. All pretense that there is a process which the US administration wants to bring democracy to Venezuela, it's out the window. Who ever said we want to bring democracy? Nobody has said that! That's old thinking brother. Venezuela has hundreds of billions of dollars in liabilities on a global basis, some to US oil companies. To China? But we're just going to have now this 50 million barrels of oil and take them. We'll work out the process it will be fine for the Venezuelan people. It's just gobsmacked!
The paragon of the liberal democratic order for the last 80 years is just now saying, yeah we'll have that oil. And what justification? Yeah exactly! The rules-based order is over there's a new cowboy in town then you can see he's freaking out this guy by the way the Oil Baron they're going to the White House for the big meeting It's a big meeting with all of the oilers. Oh, we'll get a report. A real report! He has actually really been educating me on... You know in the US we can now basically make the strike price for oil We could say okay it is 45 bucks if you wanted to and we could sell at whatever price we want There are all kinds of very interesting angles to this taking of the oil
And he gave me a book to read, which I've been devouring. It's called The World for Sale Money Power and the Traders who Barter the Earth Resources and it's the commodity traders. You never hear about these. Well you've heard probably about Glencore, Gunvor, Trafigura, Vital You know, these aren't really names that you hear all the time. But these are the guys who literally ship the oil though they'll buy the oil to get it from one country. They put it on this is a lot of these shadow ships. They ship it across the country. They might trade it for grain. It's not even money sometimes but trade it for either different kind of oil or a different commodity. There's also all kinds of metals in the same ship
It's amazing how this really all works. Good business! Well, one of the top people in this business is a guy named Louis Dreyfus. Where have I heard that name before? Good name. Yeah, Julia Louis Dreyfus is the heir to that fortune Then he's a commodities trader. Democrat! Well, I don't know if Louis is...I don't know if Louis still alive but yeah she's more than a democrat she's tarred Another thing that came up in conversation is you know Venezuela has anti-aircraft batteries that are supplied by Russia You gotta wonder did they malfunction?
Did they just not work? Or was Russia in on the deal. I think so, I think Russia was in on the deal and China probably knew about it maybe not the timing because they had their boys there doing a meeting. China is huge. China has loaned Venezuela 90 billion so far yeah and could be more than that and they're going to be on the hook for that yes But exactly what I said is like, hey they've got to do something for the Venezuelan people soon. And I think that's this you know the 30 or it's not clear how much is 30 or 50 million barrels that's two billion dollars okay so that's gonna keep the food in the supermarkets for a little bit longer because even just change their system
But I think it's fascinating. This isn't just one thing that changed here, this is a lot of things that changed. Here's... So everyone's kind of go from Venezuela to Greenland? Well let's don't leave Venezuela then. You want to do Venezuela? Okay yeah lets do Venezuela What do i have on my list here? I see you have three steps Oh yeah this is kind of interesting because this just came out Rubio, who's would be a great dictator. He's funny he says funny things he has little... Oh and by the way somebody in there said one of the people from I think that works in The White House says that if all the people that are on the in The White House Rubio is the funniest
Well, you hear him say stuff. He's funnier than Trump they say he has quips he has little snide quips that just Slash away and I should get it. I should get a super cut together we had to find something that has Yeah, well before we played this... Remember he's an entertainer after all. Well he was and he is the one who came up with the small hands joke Yes it was good! He started doing kind of a stand-up bit when he was running for president in 2016 2015 he went into some stand-up material that was top notch I remember do we have that clip by the way? Do we have...? I don't know if you're doing or how did find it but he did top notch material And then he was condemned
non never Trump or Republicans for being too to glib and he just shut it down. He shut it down But obviously he had the chops Yes, so he's probably is the funniest guy. Let me see hands. Do you have the little hands? Little hands no I don't know well here's let's start with a Maduro hate this is a super cut from the various talk shows on MSNB at Miz now and CNN, and all the rest of these guys going off on Trump. This was an illegal unconstitutional regime change effort this is about taking over and running another country? This is illegal
it's unjustified. Clearly this is wildly illegal, this is a president who has been operating illegally since he was sworn into office stealing from the American people. This is the worst form of gunboat diplomacy that proceeds to create a lot of problems for United States The reality is that you know to fund these operations to fund nation building they need the approval of Congress right and so they're gonna have to come to us when it comes to funding all of these things, or do more illegal things and move money around illegally like they have in the past. They care about the president running this country not trying to have some dominance in the hemisphere Yeah So this is what I thought was interesting because one of the things that keeps coming up in conversations is Trump's got no plans he doesn't know what he's doing He did this and grabbed a guy now they don't know what to do! Yeah right
So here is the, this is the Venezuela three steps. And congressional Republicans agreed with the Trump administration that the removal of Maduro was not about regime change Step one is destabilization of the country we don't want it descending into chaos The second phase will be a phase that we call recovery and that is ensuring that American Western and other companies have access to the Venezuelan market in way that's fair opposition forces can be amnestied and released, and from prisons are brought back to the country and begin to rebuild civil society. And then the third phase of course will be one of transition." It is not a regime change I want emphasize that it is a change of the actions of the regime Yeah yeah there's a lot more to it let me see I've BBC...let me see
Well, no. I have three clips all British related of course here's Reuters This is about the the ghost ships the Ghost Fleet Which is a lot of these guys that are in this book? I'm reading The US has seized two Venezuelan linked oil tankers in the Atlantic Notably one of the tankers bearing a Russian flag was being shadowed by a Russian submarine American forces had been pursuing the marinera for more than two weeks The ship was reportedly empty, but US officials are saying it's been used to move Venezuelan crude. This comes just days after US forces captured Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro and as Trump announced a deal to bring up to 50 million barrels of the crude into the U.S.. Just a thought let's say
Because Russia's been selling their crude cheap, cheap to China whoever needs it. Just undercutting the price in India So what if Trump says you know I'm gonna peg this I'm gonna sell this at 35? Russia because oil is... What's the term You know it's the same everywhere and it's not the same oil but The prices are the price so then Russia will have to lower their price It'll put pressure on them And maybe this would be a good tactic to use, like hey come on Vladimir. Let's just figure this thing out do it demilitarize zone let's just end that stuff and then we'll screw Europe together because Europe the only way they can survive is with Russian oil that's it I mean yeah they can use our LNG but Europe is dead without Russian energy I just don't see where else it's going to come from
Yeah, they got nothing. I think that could be part of the ploy. It's like yeah, I'm going to come and sell this really cheap. The after... Something is up! Yes Here is national security reporter Idrees Ali any time you have a superpower taking over something that belongs to another superpower, in this case the United States and Russia. It does risk tensions fairing. It does risk diplomatic demarche. The Russian transportation ministry put out statement saying this is unacceptable. We request and really demand our citizens
from the ship to be returned to us. But beyond that, I think we're trying to figure out what happens next right? Do the Russians say okay this was a vessel that was under our flag but it really wasn't something that belonged to us previously so we're going to let this go or do they have some sort of response where they'll go after some vessels that is important United States The U.S. Coast Guard is in possession of the vessel, it does appear to be heading in the direction of British waters but we don't know what the final destination is going to be. Okay so I do not know what that means here's the BBC... BB was a tug and Russians would you know the Russians are little more concerned about that 300 billion stolen from them hard cash You think?
By the EU as opposed to some old beat-up. I've seen pictures of this thing is barely It's not if it makes it without sinking, I'd be shocked and just because you paint a Russian flag on it Doesn't mean it belongs to Russia You know you fly you sail under a flag that's registration doesn't mean that Russia owns it here's Here's the BBC version. The United States has seized two oil tankers with connections to Venezuela, one that the US had been pursuing for weeks since intercepting it off the Venezuelan coast was boarded in the North Atlantic between Iceland and Britain during the chase a ship which is reported to be empty of cargo changed its name and adopted a Russian flag
Before the tanker was seized, Russian naval support including a submarine had been on its way to escort it. The second vessel which was carrying oil and sailing under a Cameroonian flag was seized in the Caribbean It's now being escorted to US port A former Russian deputy foreign minister Andrey Fedorov told BBC Moscow would take the U.S action very seriously For Russia, it's a very important thing because if there will be attack from US it will be considered as an attack on Russia and it could lead to very critical or maybe even crisis situation in relations between Russia and the U.S. Dream on Brit! No they're all playing apart I think this is this is a game much bigger than they understand
It's much bigger. Well, throw a wrench in the works... I have this not reported clip from NTD that I don't understand how this fits into the scheme of things, but it's not nobody talking much about. This is my WTF clip for the day. WTF oil deal President Trump announcing a historic oil deal with Venezuela under its terms. Venezuela will purchase only American products with the money made from the US selling Venezuela's sanctioned oil. This coming as the U S apprehends two more sanctioned oil tankers in the Atlantic entities Washington correspondent brings us more from the way haven't heard this story at all
What a great idea. It's like, we're not actually going to give you the money we're just gonna send you some goods in return this is a great idea! All eyes are still on Venezuela as the White House today confirms the seizure of two more sanctioned oil tankers one of them at the Sofia fleet motor tanker. This vessel was operating in international waters and conducting illicit activities in the Caribbean Sea." And the other, Bella One, the British military says was part of a Russian-Iranian axis of sanctions evasion. The vessel this morning was seized in the North Atlantic. This was a Venezuelan shadow fleet vessel that has transported sanctioned oil. The vessel had a judicial seizure order and the crew so that means the crew is now subject to prosecution
for any applicable violation of federal law. This comes as President Trump announced Tuesday night that the interim authorities in Venezuela will be turning over 30 to 50 million barrels of sanctioned oil to the United States where it will be sold at market price. The White House saying, the Trump administration led by Secretary of State Marco Rubio is in close correspondence with interim authorities in Venezuela and the interim authorities have agreed to release that oil to the United States so it will be arriving here at home very soon. The United States government has already begun marketing Venezuelan crude oil. Levitt says the US is selectively rolling back sanctions to enable the transport and sale of Venezuelan crude oil to global markets They are not generating any revenue from their oil right now they can't move it unless we allow it to move because we have sanctions because were enforcing those sanctions this is tremendous leverage, we are exercising in a positive way
And we're going to refine it, though. First I presume. I mean who else does anyone else really need? Well yeah Venezuela has some refining capabilities but we have that we have the refineries. Yeah Louisiana and Texas is great right down in that area. Good for us. Go Texas! It keeps these guys busy. Here's part two proceeds from Venezuelan crude oil sales will first settle in U.S. controlled accounts and then those funds will be dispersed for the benefit of the American people and the Venezuelan people. We're going to market that crude, we're going to allow that crude to be sold so that revenue can be generated but then we are going to control the flow of that revenue to make sure it's going for productive reasons in Venezuela Meanwhile as the effects of former Venezuelan dictator Nicolas Maduro's capture are felt around the world
President Trump warning other Western countries that his administration won't allow America's neighbors to be used as proxies for US adversaries. from a national security situation. It's so strategic, right now Greenland is covered with Russian and Chinese ships all over the place we need Greenland for the standpoint of national security President Trump says Russia and China have quote zero fear of NATO without the US And that the only nation at China and Russia fear in respect is the America that he's rebuilding The White House confirms the U S is talking about what a potential purchase of Greenland would look like
control over the Arctic region and ensuring that China and Russia, uh... in our adversaries cannot continue their aggression in this very important and strategic region. Leavitt says all options are on the table with the first option always diplomacy Secretary of State Marco Rubio says he plans to meet his Danish counterparts next week to talk about the US's interest in Greenland reporting from The White House Mario Tsu NTD News I think that There's disinformation that the president is spreading with this because it's not, every single report mentions the national security part of it.
But then always, oh minerals! They got oil. They got minerals. There's gold in them hills I tell you it is all great stuff No one's gonna drill for minerals in Iceland You're not gonna drill for oil and Iceland No they're not It's cold there's ice The oils frozen Or Greenland I'm sorry You can't pump out something that's frozen Greenland I'm sorry I meant said Iceland I meant Greenland Yeah but no ones gonna do that Is it? but that what they keep saying as you've pointed out many times Rare earth minerals, it's not the you can get them anywhere almost anywhere It's the processing. That's the key, but every report ends with it or has it as a feature. You listen to CNBC again... We need Greenland! President Donald Trump is fixated on making Greenland part of the United States and there are three key reasons why. Trump says his interest in huge and sparsely populated Danish territory is essential for national security The White House has even raised the prospect of military action
But there are some other reasons why Greenland finds itself in the US's sights. First, location-location-location. Greenland sits between Russia and the US separating the Arctic Ocean and the North Atlantic Ocean. Second, shipping routes – The largely frozen island is close to new shipping routes as a climate crisis melts arctic ice creating opportunities to upend global trade And third despite Trumps recent dismissal of this being a primary driver Minerals. Greenland is widely known for its wide range of raw materials, which play an integral role in things like EVs smartphones and loads of other tech products Despite Trump's posturing European leaders have been unequivocal in their support of both Denmark and Greenland So minerals oh yeah minerals minerals It's about one thing and one thing only the it's called the GI UK gap
the Greenland-Iceland UK gap, which falls under surveillance by NATO currently because of the you know the NATO connection with Denmark and Greenland being a part of that. So we don't trust NATO anymore. NATO is falling apart now I don't think Trump wants to blow NATO up because he still wants to sell a lot of gear to him... A lot! A lot, a lot of gear But he does want to police that G.I.U.K gap and the only way you can do it, well there's a couple of ways you can do it but you need to either own Greenland so you have your 200 mile economic zone which would cover it and then you can actually patrol it now there are other cases where you can do sonar monitoring but that is not really what we want We wanna do the same thing China is doing in the China Sea
around the disputed islands. We want to be in control there so that you can't have... The Brits, they literally have Russian submarines showing up off their shore! How do you think they got there? Duh through the gap and then why are we building 10 icebreakers or six ice breakers in Pennsylvania that we bought all the know-how and everything from Finland, because we're going to crush through all that ice. We're going to make this the most fantastic shipping route ever and we are gonna control it! And if you look at the globe... If you believe in the globe That's part of our hemisphere It is very simple for me but everybody says oh its about minerals and boy
The Brits and the whole system, they're all afraid of this. They do not like it. Witness Canada's solidarity! Prime Minister Mark Carney in Paris at a summit focused squarely on Ukraine Our main objective is to finalize the security guarantees which create the possibility of just and lasting peace Did you see the signing they did of the security agreement? I did not. Oh, so... and Witkoff and Kushner are there And they say oh yeah we've signed a EU-NATO blah blah We've signed the security agreement with Ukraine and if you look at the fine print all were going to do is monitor intelligence. Were not providing anything!
But they act like, oh yes there's a lasting peace and the US is part of it. We're not! The agreement really states we're just monitoring a little bit you know? We'll let you know if we see anything suspicious. We're not providing... We will keep an eye on it That's exactly right, we will keep an eye on it. So I had the uh.. Yes here it is It's the Coalition for the Willing Security Guarantee And I think I have the exact wording that will do it These elements will be European-led with the involvement also of non-European members of the coalition and the proposed support of the US. That's in the agreement! Well, that's nothing we're not doing anything Crucially, the monitoring and verification of future ceasefire would be led by the U.S We're gonna monitor and verify. We are not doing anything
want anything. This is this they're delusional along with Carney, European leaders and US representatives Donald Trump's peace envoy Steve Whitcoff and the US President's son-in-law Jared Kushner but it was Trump himself who cast a long shadow over this meeting with his increasingly bellicose threats against a NATO ally we need Greenland from the standpoint everybody likes that Nat pop Greenland of national security and Denmark is not going to be able to do it. I can tell you after sending US troops into Venezuela to capture the country's president, Trump has once again turned his attention to Greenland and his desire to take over the territory from Denmark
In a statement today, the White House called acquiring Greenland an important foreign policy goal and pointedly refused to rule out military action. That after Trump's hardline policy chief Stephen Miller this week dodged a question on the US potentially taking the island by force. Greenland as part of the United States. There's no need to even think or talk about this in the context of a military operation, nobody is going to fight the United States militarily over the future of Greenland so that question just doesn't make any sense So we could do it under the compact of Freedom Association which you would deal with Paolao and Micronesia
which in a deal would give us full authority and so we don't own Greenland. We just say, okay we have a compact of free association will pay the 600-700 million a year that Denmark is currently on the hook for And then we get strategic denial rights, the legal power to deny military access to third parties. I think this is the setup Russia you take care of that region will take care of our hemisphere China You do your thing they may actually invade Taiwan but it's not going to cut us off from chips They'd be crazy to do that Why would China take over Taiwan and not sell us chips?
That's not gonna happen. If you read the Russia, I decided to...I was looking at some material on Iran which is either falling apart or not. Yeah well I want to stay with Greenland before you go to Iran. Yeah but I'm just saying that I was looking at the Russian material and see what it was going on if they have anything there's nothing and but i did spot this article in I think it was Sputnik maybe another one in RT saying the US is going to buy Greenland. And the Russians don't even think there's gonna be military action, they're already convinced that the deal is in play... this just a matter of what are you gonna pay? I think so too
But it's not going to be an invasion. They could also do a lease, you know? You can do under the 1951 Defense of Greenland Agreement. If I was in Denmark... Yeah maybe the lease would be a good idea for awhile if you can get enough money out of it but... 99 years! Maybe but there's always... A 99-year lease might work. just a straight up, if you can get a lot of money... I mean it's got to be good. Denmark has no interest in Greenland but they could use $100 billion or two billion or 100 billions is a lot as a lot of money but under that 1951 agreement between the United States and Denmark
We have a free hand. We can pretty much do anything we want with Greenland, but that's not the point it's about the water. We want to have the right to patrol and basically own that water as the ice melts and as our big beautiful ships that we bought from Finland start to break up the ice is going to be a dynamite place And it also I think kind of hurts China's Belt and Road, or at least we can start charging for passage. There are all kinds of benefits to it! The rules-based order has changed and the only people who haven't realized that yet aren't copying to it is the EU. They're just beside themselves. Where's Ursula in all this? Where's Queen Ursula? She hasn't been yelling about anything recently
I'm missing that. Here's part two of this Canada solidarity with Greenland Denmark's Prime Minister Mette Fredriksen says the question needs to be taken at face value For the first, I think we should take the American president I believe the American president should be taken seriously when he says he wants Greenland she says but i also want to make clear that if the United States chooses to attack another NATO country then everything stops including NATO Mark Carney met the Danish PM at the Paris summit and announced Foreign Affairs Minister Anita Anand and Governor General Mary Simon would visit Greenland next month to open a new Canadian consulate. Carney today trying to strike a diplomatic tone. We stand with Denmark, we stand with Greenland our closest partnership is with the United States so will work with everybody to make sure that
But we stand with Denmark. The leaders of six European NATO countries, the UK France Germany Italy Poland and Spain joined Denmark in a joint declaration calling the US an essential partner but underlining Greenland belongs to its people that Denmark and Greenland alone will decide their future The question whether a newly emboldened U.S president shares that view So I think it's just trolling. It's just trolling He's gonna make a deal and I think everyone be like, oh that's pretty good deal Yeah, it'll be a good deal. It should be a great deal And and you know then things slowly unfold But III see the the music is gonna stop and we're gonna have the EU with nothing nothing
What do you know about the Berlin blackout? I don't have any clips. Yeah, I couldn't get anything that was useful No Euro news has these African guys doing voiceover You can't even understand them it and what did they run out of Europeans to do the euro news I guess so So They've targeted power stations. I don't know if it's a transformer or relay, or if the actual power station but the word is that they're using some kind of EMP or you know they're frying the electronics so not planting bombs their frying stuff and its taking six seven days to get these things back online. I have a feeling we got some people out there who might be able to help us understand what's going on
Yeah, baby. And it's all being blamed on Antifa which is at this point isn't Antifa just basically radical Muslims because they got enough of those in Europe? It may be code. It's probably code I think so its code but we don't know what the code is not yet not yet So I've been following this Iranian thing. There's a bunch of live streamers and- Yeah, it's groovy! And there is one guy 2CTousi.tv and his crew of TV, supposed to be TV people has been pushing the fact that I think one city at least, the second biggest city in Iran Masoud or Massoud whatever you pronounce it has fallen
and as other towns fall in, they're making it sound as if there is a all hell's breaking loose. And so this is either... But nobody's covering it in the West and so I looked up but looked at all the media reports because this guy says that Russian, that's why he was looking at Russian stuff. The Russians have said that there's gonna be a matter of days before the regime falls meanwhile American mainstream media said no mainstream media is covering except The New York Times did have an article yesterday that disgust and it looked like hell was breaking loose, but it was buried. It was buried for some reason so this can't be an op our boys doing anything because usually we plant
stuff in the media if we're doing, if it's our boys doing the intel and causing trouble. So this is somewhat mysterious but I wanna play these. I only have two clips because otherwise doesn't make a lot of sense nobody even knows this is going on but this from yesterday last night actually. This is their Ron falling from 2C TV. Hello ladies and gentlemen, welcome back to Tursi TV. Oh yeah I know this guy he's good! Woo thank God for YouTube Your global news channel Ammar Tursi and the revolution in Iran is getting closer and closer to completion The Iranian people are now celebrating in multiple cities as we now have reports from two or three new cities who have fallen into the hands of anti-Islamic occupation Iranians
That includes, of course the second largest city Mashhad. But most of Karaj is now also under the control of the people as their security forces have now retreated from those areas and there are members of the military police ambassage have defected to the revolution from the regime and government buildings have been taken over in multiple cities and regions There is a lot happening, we're going to show you all the videos and get your reaction as usual. And also we are getting literally minutes before we came live Russian media... The Russian media... What is going on here? The Russian media are now reporting that fall of the regime in Iran is imminent
And, okay so we also got a big shout out to Cheyenne X just telling me another government building headquarters in the city of... this is actually in the northeast that has now fallen. Okay well I'm just going to go through the videos that we are receiving as we speak and will talk about what's going on with Russian media as well. A lot to talk about! First things first earlier today In Char Mahal, Bahtiyari province we had armed individuals fighting back defending themselves against the Islamic occupation forces in the eastern part of Iran. He's a little bit of a yak yacker he could get to the point a little faster yeah that's why I didn't like clipping him but at least there was something there well i got some clips after you're done okay uh and this is the second part where it just yaks a little more but
But this is, so he mentions Russian media. So I went to Russian media, I did deep searches, I went to two or three different sites that I could get on a VPN and there's nothing! I don't know what he's talking about. This is an op of some sort maybe? Or maybe this is actually taking place they have a lot of videos coming in from these you can think Elon Musk might be behind it because it's his satellites that are providing us with any... Wait a minute, so what you're saying is you question if its real? Oh yeah big time. Okay But at the same time New York Times does have a story but they couched it slightly differently and but it's buried
And you'd think it might not be buried because remember the last time there was like a pink revolution or some bullcrap during Obama? Green, green revolution. Green and that they that's crapped out but it got a lot of PR in Western media this is getting nothing! This is getting no play at all Well hello we have ice in Minnesota that's much more important And if this is not, and if this isn't up and it's not taking place and its all created. It's all a fantasy that's worth covering too! I mean you either cover as a revolution thats taking place in Iran because this is a major country
Or if it's bull crap, you cover that as such. It's not being covered in any way at all except by right here and so it's something somewhat mysterious the whole thing but the Russians I don't see anything in Russian media that said that the regime has fallen but maybe he's got a different source than I do. But let's play part two Shortly after this, we had a massive escalation as the offices of the representative, the direct representative of Ali Khamenei, the Supreme Leader. So his branch basically is IRGC branch was taken over and destroyed. This is crazy absolutely insane that they update that were getting it tonight every night is just escalating slightly more
And just a reminder, only about three days ago four days ago the update came that of course the backup plan for Khamenei and 20 of his closer people in the inner circle will be planning to flee to Moscow if the regime can't handle this. And if defections begin both of them have now started the IRGC are not able to take back control of the country and we have, will continue to get more defections from the regime. So as I said, the Russian media are now reporting that the fall of the regime is imminent it's coming now at this point so we don't know exactly how many hours or days were looking out but if tomorrow is like this wave an escalates more government buildings full well its gonna be bye-bye alley but Khangon in Iran
The Islamic forces, they are panicking so much. What did I tell you? Over the last 10-11 days they're not able to actually form an organized structured crackdown like previously so you only see a small group standing in a corner, the IRGC guys and when they get desperate when they get terrified they start shooting at whatever they see in front of them Okay, so I have a couple of clips that I was able to find from France 24 and...I think it's real. And I think it really for one reason
And that's the money. On shop shelves in Iran, products abound but no one is buying amid the worst economic crisis in years they just don't have the money A liter of cooking oil used to be 790 thousand rials it's now 1.85 million As the government announced prices for other goods will rise by 50%-100%. That's good to become more expensive. Costs for all services will increase too, the price hikes will spread into other areas of people's lives." Iranians took to the streets late last month as the rial plunged to 1.4 million against the US dollar With inflation in overdrive, the Rials lost 60% of its value against the greenback since summer
While warning of severe consequences for rioters, Iranian authorities have struggled to shore up the collapsing economy. Recently ending a subsidized exchange rate for importers that was meant to suppress prices for essential products in favor of paying Iranians directly. We have not eliminated subsidies instead we have started depositing the subsidies into the bank accounts of all residents The sum, about $7, ought to pay for around 100 eggs and a few kilos of rice or chicken at current prices. While it'll help Iran's poorest the policy change is set to push prices even higher I think they saw that they couldn't rein in inflation so they said let's give people a million tomans So we can somehow absorb the pressure to hold it back. I mean It's like a temporary painkiller
Iran's reformist president has acknowledged his people's pain, but if he wants to make more than just a gesture he may need far deeper change than Tehran has until now been willing to make. Okay so if you have rampant inflation like that and your solution is to give everybody $1,000 bucks That's not gonna last very long! That is the definition of how you ruin it And I think that there is real frustration. Water has been mismanaged, people have been... Water? They're out of water! There's no water they can't and I mean there's video The bazaars are all closed which is the main way of doing business That's the main thing But this inflation thing but again even this report seems you know they never give you numbers what's a number ask your right because it wasn't in that report what is their inflation number in Iran right now
Well, he didn't give the inflation number but the guy said it used to be 750 thousand shekels whatever they use over there. Rials. And now it's 1.5 So, I mean that seems like a 100% inflation right there. Yeah which is not! Right now the inflation rate in Iran depending on who you ask is between 40 and 50 percent per year per year. That's not good either! No, it's not good as bad in fact we had 9% but its cumulative which makes it really worse over time yeah but is by the 40 percent did the numbers are giving don't make sense because a forty-percent year over year I'm gonna go with the low number for you said your every year me said something from that last year cost of box now going to cost you buck forty okay is that is that that's not like the numbers are going into millions
I'm telling you there's an up going on here. Well, it could be a financial op. Scott Besant may be doing something really interesting. I don't know so yeah the annual inflation rate 42 point 4 percent this is from my robot point to point inflation which is between December 2024 December 2025 is 52.6 So it's rising by about 3-4% month over month. You make it impossible for people to buy food and have no water. Yeah, they're gonna get angry Now I did find one guy. I can't find any op connections to him His name is Kian Habib Ian and by the way Iran is not a bunch of towel head bunnies running around in the desert No their Persians as a very old culture Yes And they have a lot of connections to America particular tired or covering there pretty women up
Well, so this guy actually comes from... he was the co-founder originally of We Are Iranian Students and he was also a part of something about the women. Yeah, The Iranian Students by they way are responsible for putting this administration in place in 79' in the first place it was The Iranian Students but okay. Okay 1979! Okay. I know I'm just saying The Iranian students are just a bunch of screw ups Okay, well let's give him the benefit of the doubt and listen to this guy Kian Habibyan. These protesters in Tehran's Grand Bazaar chanted slogans calling for the fall of the Iranian regime. They were ultimately dispersed when security forces fired tear gas since 28th December. The demonstrations have spread from Tehran to other areas particularly in the west of the country they were initially against a high cost-of-living but are now taking aim at the regime itself is this
founder of a group supporting Iran's protesters explained to France 24. Since last Sunday, it started with the bazaar who went on strike and quickly joined by students but the protests and the pressure inside of Iran whether it is social or economic is so high on the population that you have different parts of the population who are right now in the streets Iranian authorities have announced they will give a monthly allowance to every citizen in the country.
in a bid to alleviate economic pressure. But for some Iranians, it's not enough The government says it has heard the concerns of protesters but has stepped up a crackdown on what it calls rioters According to Norway-based NGO Iran Human Rights security forces have killed dozens of demonstrators including several minors Iranian authorities say clashes have also claimed the lives of members of the security forces including a policeman who was shot dead on Tuesday. US President Donald Trump has warned Iranian authorities against killing peaceful protesters, threatening that the U.S would intervene So this Kian guy he's based in Paris He used to be a professional ice hockey player so that's how I guess he ejected out but this thing started kind of there was a they have their martyr Masha Amini
who died in the hospital under, you know suspicious... Yeah that was over a year ago. Yeah so it's been brewing since then that's when he came onto the scene and started making noise So I mean to me? I don't know if this is an op You're right! I agree with your premise that if this wasn't up we'd have a story All we have is this ice hockey player. So there's no story, there's no one to talk to, there are no officials, there are no intelligence officers on TV saying anything. You got President Trump saying hey man if you kill people I'm going to step in and meanwhile you have real economic problems. We need to airdrop some stablecoin on these people
That's always the answer. The air drops in stablecoin! I do have a BBC... So anyway, my point is that this is going on one way or the other and it's the media is so poor in this country that we don't even there's not even an inkling of No one's even touching it. It is just beyond me! I got us two more short BBC reports... So tell us about these protests which have been going on for 10 days and which seem, if anything to be intensifying our big challenge to the Iranian rulers grip on power
That's true. We are definitely getting the picture of the spate of unrest expanding rather than dying down today so far we've got reports of unrest from several cities from the very top of Iran to the bottom of Iran, from the west to the middle of Iran and some of them are violent. Violent by who? Between the demonstrators and the security forces An interesting thing in this expansion of this unrest in Iran is reaching smaller villages and this is what we witnessed during the 1979 revolution that it had got to the level of villages. And today, we're getting signs of that so yeah, it is deepening Now also Venezuela plays into this you know there has been a stop of money flow
And oil is money. It's just pure money, you can trade it for anything you want anywhere in the world and Venezuela may have been more of a hub than we realized for the Iranian regime and I'd like someone to explain to me what has happened to the Rial? Is that purely money printing because they only compare it to the dollar so what is going on? What happened there? That's the part that I don't understand But the economy is always money printing. Yeah, okay so then they print a whole bunch of money trying to pacify everybody didn't work it doesn't have to be an op
It just doesn't have to be. No, I agree it could this could be a an actual revolution uh real grass works a grassroots grassroots a grassroots revolution that's actually from the taking by sincere one that's not being run by an intelligence agency that's not being run by us or the Russians or anybody else it could actually be genuine and then that makes it even worse to me because you have a genuine situation taking place that's in today's day 12, and after 12 days the mainstream media does not cover bit of it because it is not being run by an intel agency. So the mainstream media is only going to cover what they're told to cover by the CIA. Is that what we are ending up with here? Is that the conclusion I can draw?" Well of course it is!
It's either about the midterms or it's an op. Why cover anything else? And by the way, this does have an application to the midterms because if Iran falls they'd be immediately friendly with United States Trump would get credit for it because he bombed a nuclear facilities and supposedly if you listen to this guy 2CTV He's always referring to Trump. He's doing Trump gags And he's doing Trump voices and he's saying anything the public loves Trump in Iran. They love him I believe that to be true, too. I believe it to be true too and i think it's the same thing in Venezuela So you have to downplay it To a max because you don't need trump getting credit Because we have the 2016 midterms coming up and the Democrats might lose a seat That's the only thing I can think of for suppressing this to an extreme
How about this? Trump's NSS is working. The national security strategy is working and, uh... And this oil deal where he can set- we can set the price that is not gonna do any favors for Iranian oil either! Like hey man why should I go through the hassle of getting it from you and changing my transponder and shutting it off when I just get it from Trump?! Seriously!? Yeah. There is luckily, luckily there's an Israel angle from the BBC As protests continue across Iran a human rights group says at least 36 people have been killed during the past 10 days of demonstrations The Human Rights Activist News Agency says two of them were affiliated with security forces The unrest was sparked by an economic crisis and has now spread to most of Iran's provinces
Meanwhile, officials say a man accused of spying for Israel has been executed. Khasra Najeeh of the BBC Persian service told me more about him. According to Iranian officials his name is Ali Ardestani. The Iranian authorities are saying that he was a key Mossad agent and that he was passing on sensitive information to Israelis and photographing particular places and gathering information about sensitive subjects in return for a million dollar reward according to the Iranian authorities, in cryptocurrency. And also rewarded with British
visa. We don't know anything more than that they haven't by the way connected this to the present unrest in Iran. They haven't? They haven't but nonetheless the message is clear and this man is probably the 12th or 13 person who's been executed vis-a-vis Mossad and Israel on alleged spying for Israel in the past six months. Luckily, luckily the BBC can kind of insinuate that Jews did it that's always good The thing we're missing here
is who wants to fill the vacuum if this, if the regime really does fall. And you've got that prince in London living an exile and he's only doing YouTube and podcasts in Farsi which has another reason just believe it's more real than an op because he's not doing any English spoken podcasts It's all Farsi and he is going on for 10-15 minutes. Who knows what he is talking about? Well, this has been discussed by this Tusi guy, Tusi TV guy. He is giving him orders. I think the latest one is you are supposed to
all stopped doing some variety, he was supposed to come out at a certain time and certain day. Oh! The prince is doing that? The crown prince? Yeah he's doing that yeah He's telling him what to do and they are... if you watch enough of this other guy there's a lot of chanting for him to take over which is suspicious At this point the Prince has got to be British intelligence I mean, you don't live in London for 40 years. Unless they've dropped the ball... Wow! Well with that new MI6 lady it wouldn't surprise me she doesn't seem like she's very good You know the Python lady? Like we want you all to learn to code Python
That lady? Yeah, right. She's a dummy And then in the trifecta or is it quadfecta at this point we have Colombia and breaking news President Petro had a little phone call with President Trump and that changed everything overnight. President Petro stepped onto the stage, basically mumbled took some papers out of his pocket and explained that he had just spoken to Donald Trump on the phone in the car as he was driving to the event and that it would have to change his whole speech. Indeed everybody was expecting a frontal attack against the American president when in fact he explained that he'd spoke
for 15 minutes with him and that both men had decided to meet in person with President Petro, inviting Donald Trump here in Colombia and Donald Trump inviting him to the White House. Donald Trump later confirmed that indeed he had charged Marco Rubio of organizing the meeting in a close future. President Petro also explained that he'd spoken with Del Ciro Rodriguez, the new leader of Venezuela saying that there as well he would like to organize meetings trilateral meetings with the United States so indeed it was a complete shift in the whole paradigm of this crisis. Indeed president Petro saying there would be a complete change when it comes to relationship... The guy said paradigm
He would like to organize meetings, trilateral meetings with the United States. So indeed it was a complete shift in the whole paradigm of this crisis. With President Petro saying that there would be a complete change when it comes to the relationship with the United States but the canal had been reopened and indeed solutions could be found So I wonder how that phone call went. Hey, did you see Maduro? Would you like a nice ride or would you like it not- I really don't think so. And Rubio's the main guy...I mean when they picked Rubio I said it right at the outset You nailed it! You nailed the whole hemisphere. You actually front ran the Don Roe doctrine
I did. You did? And that's because... Hold on, hold on! I want you to take that for a second and do a little victory lap Because you, I'm going to give it to you. You called that months in advance. You said Rubio's the guy it's gonna be North-South and that... Another reason people should be listening to The No Agenda Show because we are months ahead of this stuff! You nailed it! Months? A year almost. So I would say, cause Rubio is fluent in Spanish obviously and he's a not Spanish-Spanish, but Western Hemisphere Spanish which is different.
and he can talk to these guys directly, emphatically with probably a fabulous vocabulary. And he is the guy that was probably doing the translation between Trump Rubio and The Guy because Rubio was involved. This Rubio is The Guy! He's doing the job here to take care of these things and I don't think there are threats going on. After the Maduro thing it's all gonna be a lot of agreeing And I think Rubio can sell it. I think Rubio's learned from Trump, if nothing else how to sell better than he used to. He was always you know had to have some chops but now he knows what he's doing So now that we've seen the national security strategy unfold someone actually gave me a good idea one of our producers said hey man! You should do a comparison
between the national security strategy and the project for a new American century. I thought it was a good idea, and indeed if you see there's a lot of commonalities space dominance global missile defense versus the Golden Dome peace through strength military spending which by the way i don't know if you caught this This, this was crazy. Let me see here it is listen to this. The US president made the announcement on Wednesday on social media he wants to increase defense spending to $1.5 trillion in 2027. He wants to build a quote dream military and pointing to the unstable geopolitical landscape as motivation. This being the spending allocated in this year's budget
billion dollars and basically was at that level over the $900 billion mark for the previous four years, as you can see on that graph. This has led to major U.S. defense stocks like Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman and Raytheon rising in extended trading in New York after the announcement but Trump did set conditions on these groups in a separate post Vowing to force these companies to speed up arms deliveries and build new manufacturing plants by cracking down on payouts for shareholders and executives, he singled out Raytheon for criticism saying quote either Raytheon steps up and starts investing in more upfront investment like plants or equipment. Or they will no longer be doing business with the Department of War." That didn't get a lot of play interestingly enough
No, I didn't hear that either. That is so... Hey! Well he's a-I did hear about Trump bitching and moaning about stock buybacks Yeah we played that on couple of shows ago but i didn't hear about the increase in 1.5 trillion which- Well I never heard that but I never heard the threat to Raytheon either which was funny. I love that! What he saying is We need an economy, we need factories, we need people And that means Jobs for engineers, jobs for lawyers, jobs for marketers. Jobs! Good paying union... good paying military jobs. It's that you know that's what forget the... You know they should also pay for? They should pay for? Auditing the Pentagon
Yeah. Let's face it, 1.5 trillion is going to be half of that is going to be a scam or fraud rip off you know there's no doubt about it Well remember, remember that Hedgseth announced the whole new procurement system So I don't think we're ever going to audit retroactively, but I have a feeling that they're going forward. There's going to be a lot more accountability for how the money is spent because that's all the Trump is whining about it was like hey you're taking too long to build it You've got overruns you doing stock buybacks no you want money? You gotta do it right so No We're not gonna there's never gonna be an accounting for all the stolen money in the past But it seems like
there's going to be some accountability moving forward and it's going to benefit America. Oh no, America first? Oh no! It could happen. Nah." And this other... I get a lot of notes after doing our Zoomer versus Boomer segment and people always come back to the same thing. How come we're helping the people of Venezuela but we were poor? And I go into dialogue and it always comes down to the same thing. I can't afford to buy a house, my dad bought a house for $16 in 1922. 16 dollars and 50 cents! From the Sears catalog. But so...and this is interesting because this is something that former New York banker said, that's not happening, that's not happening. President Trump now announces
He is immediately taking steps to ban large institutional investors, Blackstone from buying single-family homes. Blackstone and Blackrock both! That's what John buys Bay Area houses you always see these things in the local papers around here or the TV says this Bill & Jim will buy your house unlooked at we'll just give you the money And I get phone calls, two or three phone calls a month. Wow! Yeah because you know my mom's old house and they keep asking if i want to sell it They ask me if I want to sell this house well give your cash just tell us what you want and they are paying top dollar Well that's going to be over Good! And I have a feeling he might even force them to sell
He's going to Congress. His post says, I will be calling on Congress to codify it! People live in homes not corporations. I will discuss this topic including further housing and affordability proposals and more of my speech in Davos...in two weeks? He is going to Davos?! Holy mo- Well that's interesting. It's interesting in light of...hold on a second Where do I have it here? This..let me see President Trump announced the United States will withdraw from 66 international organizations and treaties.
This includes major bodies like the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change and the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change. The decision follows a review by Secretary of State Marco Rubio, citing these groups as contrary to U.S. interests. Critics warn the move could hurt American companies and communities by sidelining the country in the booming clean energy sector Supporters argue it will stop US funding for what they call ineffective global agendas. The withdrawal marks a historic shift, leaving the US as the only nation outside key climate treaties. 66! They haven't published the executive order yet I looked but that's that's a lot of international things you're leaving Yes it is And then to go to Davos and then rub in everybody's face this is going to be an interesting Davo What do you think?
What will the hooker price be this year? I would say you bring extra security. That's probably a good idea! Speaking of security, I want to thank you for your courage saying in the morning to you The man who put the C in the ICE Say hello to my friend on the other end The one and only Mr John C DeMaria Yeah, good morning to you Mr. Adam Curry and the morning worship of Seaboos and the Grandfee and the Air Subs in the water and the dames and knights out there In the morning to the trolls in the troll room Hold on a second don't move Get out from under that bridge and be counted! Okay... Alright People are still interested in what we have to say 1621 today on The Troll Countage who are listening live because they want to know what THE BOYS have to say I heard Darren and Larry They're talking about us
You know, you know what our backs was that I just noticed that Darren didn't have a pogues medley of today's show They're so convinced that they are the heirs to this show. I Want them to keep thinking that? I think that's a very good idea It's called the licensing deal and we're open for conversation We can do it 99 year licensing deal with Planet Rage That would be funny They're an interesting team. I do like listening to them So yeah, that's the trolls checking in and of course you can also troll along in the troll room Which is known as stream comments IRC chat it's very simple It's ephemeral You yell you rant your rave And it just scrolls off a no one hears then about any more so much better than social media And it's better for your health Much better for your health Was there something I wanted?
Thinking was there some m5m bonus clip. Oh, yeah Yeah, you know the corporation for public broadcasting shut down. Yeah I know when they decided to shut down is still you know kind of shutting down well whatever they're doing so I have this clip from Wni and Evansville Indiana before you play it yeah? I want to reiterate the fact that that woman who's running in PR and and it has association with Wiki and the rest of that, I can't remember her name, Mar or whatever her name is. Yeah, yes that girl. Blondie. She said that public sponsorship, the taxpayer money that goes into NPR amounts
to 1%. One percent! Well that one percent is ruining the business of WNIN in Evansville, Indiana who are a PBS affiliate as well as an NPR affiliate and they did a little statement about this. And well I can predict what's going to happen It's the end of an era. After 58 years of service, the Corporation for Public Broadcasting is closing its doors. The organization voted today to dissolve it has been operating since 1967 over the past six months public broadcasting station WNIN in Evansville has faced federal and state funding cuts station leaders tell us the decision is just a formality he tells us not much this stations operations is expected to change
What our supporters see and hear is not going to change a whole lot. We're gonna continue to focus on what our mission has always been internally, it probably is going to mean somewhat of a different business model. Not exactly sure what that's gonna look like at this point but certainly because we can't depend upon a lot of funding from the federal government. We're gonna have to find other ways of generating that revenue Wirtzell, the content will remain the same with only behind-the-scenes changes as the station looks to find new ways to do business. Yeah ads! Yep Code Bongino
Yeah, ads for pharma. Ads... yes ads are coming and maybe they'll throw in some Archer Dale Midlands by the way another big commodity trader They'll throw that in there so yeah ads are coming and it's and it's a death spiral particularly the dynamically inserted ads oh man the podcast industrial complex has just gone crazy about it because people are now starting to complain to such a degree that there's ad blocking podcast apps and ad blocking companies popping up everywhere. Good, good! Yes I think it's a great idea. I mean i don't think the way they're doing it is great because they're in essence copying the file and selling it for $1.25. It's not exactly the way it should work that's kind of theft in a way
But people are sick of the ads and it's rampant everywhere. Because whenever you do a dynamically insert ads, there is an unlimited inventory. It's unlimited so the CPM, the cost per thousand just goes down and down which means that more and more adds and it just becomes unlistenable We're not going down that route. We also, we never have...we're not gonna do subscriptions? Oh man how many subscriptions can you afford?! That's the first thing to go! Well I subscribed a pivot but uh..you know it's like I should probably just watch the clips on YouTube for free!! That's what's going on No instead we said we would like to have longevity A friend of mine pulled episode number one
And they said, oh he said okay the sound wasn't as good. No but it was 37 minutes in length our first episode ever there were no jingles in fact we are proud of not having jingles yeah we made a big deal about it but he said You know, the way you guys interacted despite a little more delay because we were using Skype back in the day and you sounded like you were talking through a straw from time to time. He said but it's been remarkably consistent and I'm like yeah well that's true We have never changed And this is what i was explaining to Tina See? Well you're never gonna fly private okay Just get used to it
It's never gonna happen. Unless you want to go in my little... My little force here. When you get in a little Cessna, that's flying private! She doesn't consider that to be flying private if she has to get it over the wing. What is what? Getting in over the wing is not flying private unless there are stairs that drop down from the fuselage. It's not flying private and I have to agree with her. I disagree. Yes. I think getting into helicopters flying private Anyway, that's beyond the point. I said because we're going to do this she says I hope you make it 20 until 20 years and what did he mean? You hope you make it till twenty years! We're going forever with this thing. We're gonna die in this saddle. Well until we drop Yeah one of us is gonna drop and then hopefully...we should probably have a dead man switch and have that licensing deal for Darren and Larry in the pocket for our heirs Think about it
We just give them half. Half! By the way, we do the money. I'm loving this idea more and more every single day. It could be... hey everybody has a B team why don't we have a farm team set up? Yeah, well you know you make a good point. I knew you'd like it! All right well we should hold open auditions really. Open Auditions? I would like to see a few of the ladies Yes and then we'll even switch on the video We would like to have an open audition. Switch on the video. We will do five minutes Five minutes of media deconstruction You can throw in a clip or two
Send it in adamcurry.com, I am very curious and if you have a video even better Even better but you have to adhere to the same value for value model otherwise You're gonna screw it up for yourself because that's what we've learned after 18 years This is what works and it works because we don't have to kowtow to subscribers advertisers any of that stuff No, we just are consistent. We are not captured by our audience people get mad and leave in a huff and they come back or they don't or new people come in it's unb... John Spurlock who runs op3.dev It is open source measurement system part of podcasting 2.0 He says I have never seen In all the podcasts he monitors he monitors four-and-a-half million
There is no audience as loyal as the No Agenda audience. I should probably get a like an official statement from him Yeah, have him sign it And seal it What does he mean by that? He says that the loyalty...I guess you can see this Are you doing it by IP addresses? Well It's not just, he has a whole system. This guy is a genius. He's ex-Google. He retired and lives on the ranch in New Jersey. Oh, he's one of those guys? Yeah! And he said that... No, he was the guy who got it. I know the type. He's an engineer's medic. A true
Some people, I've said this before. I'll bring it up one more time. There are people out there like for example Chet Heath who used to work at IBM he always used to look and I know other people too that could do this George Morrow could do it. He'd look at a bus structure and see what the signals were supposed to be and you can see immediately where there would be a conflict. Another friend of mine was a, used to be antenna engineer at Grumman And he said he could look at it and just look at an antennae say that's not going to work. And then he just says it took him decades before he realized that nobody else could see what he was seeing when he saw that the antenna wouldn't work because you could see how the waves came in. I don't know what he's looking at, but it's like these kind of guys are out there and obviously one of those guys has got a sense of this stuff. He is also super nice guy and he's worth to follow because he always has links
interesting stories and posts. He's a good guy, and he is doing all of this just for the love of podcasting. Doesn't charge anybody for it And he's, yeah. So when he says... When he makes a statement like that I tend to believe him How he does it? I don't know. He probably is right! We do a redirect through op3.dev which thousands of podcasts do this now because you can go right on op3.dev and take a look You can see all his stats an everything It's great so that's the point we have a loyal audience People who stick with us are with us for a long time
Now that doesn't mean a lot of them don't donate. Yeah, well no why would what it's free? Why would you do that? You know like I don't have to go to that cheese shop or what happened to the cheese shop Oh, it's gone. Do you know why he didn't buy any cheese keep buying our cheese people yeah helps and supports Open podcasting by getting a modern podcast app podcast apps calm so now we want to thank People are supporters are producers Yeah, our Duke of Texas Sir Gene he posted a like a negative comment on X. He showed some video of, like some dear-born Muslims celebrating... Is this some holiday they celebrate? You know the 40 years after somebody of Muhammad's died I don't know what it was and they do this dance and looks kind of militaristic And he posts, I would trust my own eyes watching a video over some so called listeners
who have anonymous listeners boots on the ground. I trust our boots on the ground, we sniff out the spooks and we encourage the spooks to email us oh yeah we need more spooks! We need spooks they tell us what's going on they're trying to feed us stuff of course but we try to spot that in there And they maybe sometimes donate from a safe house or some place where they have some extra money and they can send it in. We encourage that too! We encourage that, it has not been happening much No we are a spook-safe outfit Send your money Yeah I don't understand what... you know they must have
I see it as some sort of cycle where they get a bunch of money and all the sudden, okay you guys send it to your favorite podcasters. It's a memo that goes out. It's a memo once every quarter. This is the month you can send some money these guys. Here's the credit card you can use go ahead. Use that yeah good credit card right? Here's the credit card, you know they can't be traced. Just use the credit card you use for your honey trap operations with the hookers and use it to send some money Yeah we'll put some extra money in there for the podcasters So yeah but we haven't seen that recently And think about it Unless they're really slipping into surreptitious No no nah We're pretty good at detecting It's pretty obvious when it comes in
And it's much better that we have this method because then what are they going to do, buy more farmers dog to influence Joe Rogan? No! It's not gonna work. Anyway Time Talent Treasure, we want to thank the artist for episode 1831 of course we had the title that The Don Roe Doctrine Once again, we're a little bit ahead of the curve. Not everybody's using it but we heard it because the president said people are calling at the downroad doctrine It's amazing I don't know how they came up with it and Darren O'Neill nailed it he just nailed it this was although very orange
Meaning we kind of know what language model he used. He had the no agenda nicotine cookies, they're satisfying and smooth 33 packs and be fat an addicted is a beautiful piece of art with some Fat like loser with although it has very good looking teeth Yeah, nice beanie and a bee. A bee with the propeller although the propeller was kind of you know The AI didn't do the propeller very well And that that kind of failed but it was a great piece It's very funny You can't look at it not laugh now The question is
When Darren and Larry do the show, you know on our licensing deal. Will they do their own art or will they sub-license the art to someone else? Let me think... Darren it'll be doing all of the art. And hell with Jeffrey Rhea! That guy! Uh, I was gonna take a look at the art generator although it seems to have slowed down to a crawl. Looks like the troll room's having trouble too. I got on it a little while ago. Oh you got on earlier? It's got a lot of stuff Yeah well do you want to talk about... oh okay I got some other pieces that were submitted that we looked at. Let me scroll there is alot coming in
I liked the little... Jeffy Ray had a couple good pieces. He had the ultralights, flying scooter you would that was Darren's? Didn't like the flying scooter. I liked the flying scooter! It was aeronautically dumb made no sense Oh yeah, that's... Because it would chop you in half. It wouldn't make sense! Okay? It would chop you in half and was no good CIA travel agency I kind of liked Comixer Bloggers emergency pod but you nixed that right away like we're not gonna do this No I didn't, you nixed it We're not going to do an emergency pod I did not, I thought it was funny
I thought it was a funny piece. I didn't nix it, but that was a funny piece. Well we're not using emergency pod. It makes us sound like we just did an emergency pod. Well that's kind of the joke! We don't do emergency pods and then Darren did Foxbox which is just wrong because it was box fox he got that the wrong way around. We've got to note about that I'm going to read that note. This is Dame Jen with a G, protector of women's vaginas. Yeah her! That's a note that always gets some attention from us. Listening to John's clip from TikTok girls specifically the baby check boxes these gals are no longer on SSRI medication i'm seeing more and more of them in the clinic because she's a protector women's vaginas
that are on a much stronger Molotov cocktail of atypical antipsychotics such as lithium, Abilify etc. They start on SSRI medication but still feel sad or anxious at times so they get dosed up and more and more powerful drugs." Yeah! And then she had a hypothesis about... She and the spook from Spokane hit the gym on January 2nd and were shocked by the lack of crowds. And she says she attributes that to his GLP-1 epidemic." I thought that was a good observation because Horowitz always talks about, on the DHM Plug Show he's always talking about checking out the gym you know the first month uh...of the new year is always parking lots are packed and then by March there's nobody in the parking lot but it sounds like where she seeing it It's not even going be packed in January now
Why bother going to the gym when I just take this pill? She says it's a good time to invest in orthopedic surgery surgeries if there is such as stock as these mostly women have shrunk to toothpicks and with the muscle loss are one slip away from breaking their hip, pelvis or knee. Invest in orthos! There you go another tip from your No Agenda show. Thank you very much. My big life on one letter at a time, so I do have a funny clip. Oh, that's good We love funny clips well we have Johnny Johnny from the water show and I'm back Johnny's back he's back a lot I just don't get a lot of his stuff because it's not that give me It's always okay And this is probably the best reasonable one and it's always better when he goes to the beach What Beach He would say he went to Fort Myers. Oh, okay fine from New York Hey you want to go to Fort Myers and do your segment? I think so That's a big-budget show right there it is well So if they find the Fort Meyers and again you beat the beach people that live on the basically lived their lives on The beach or dingbats And so we get to forget to hear this segment which is This takes a lot of editing believe me to get some of this stuff out here But this is I think that
The crux. Happy New Year! Happy New Year! Happy New- Happy New Year!!! How'd you ring in the new year? Got fed some shots by the bartender, stayed out till about 3am and got very drunk I gave a cow a beer that's about it We rung it in kind of by the toilet... I blacked out at a party and my friend had to carry me home And I lost my shoes Who was your new years kiss? My last call Of the night just the toilet this I ended up going home with a random guy. What was the random guys name? Don't know don't remember what was your biggest mistake in 2025 partying more than I should have my ex-boyfriend honestly, it's just a piece of
Broke my foot. That was a pretty big mistake dating a man that I did not like you predict is gonna happen in your life this year 2026, I'm gonna climb Mount Everest get famous and rich I go to Minnesota It's gonna happen with your governor Tim Walz. I don't know Why do you know that he was Kamala's running mate? Oh Okay I know that. Pickle and tampon Really? I kind of like that. I'm gonna commit tax fraud Good luck, cause you're saying that on camera Can't catch me What's your name? I'm Nick Where do you live? Kansas Oh wait, shoot I shouldn't have said that. 2025 was Donald Trump's big return to the White House? How'd he do? Our economy is on the uphill climb Gas is cheaper, groceries are cheaper I do a little bit of stocks so that's done well Best president ever What should Donald Trump's New Year's resolution be? World peace Let's just be peaceful! How did Trump capture Maduro? I don't know what that is... Maduro Is that a place? Is that uh
Location? I think it's a disease. That's a- I don't even know where Maduro is! I don't know what Maduro is... He was the leader of Venezuela Okay Where IS Venezuela? I dunno Is it north or south of Florida? I mean, uh The world's circular so it's both Oh my god okay First observation Why are these people complaining about not being able to afford a house? It sounds like they're having a good life. Sounds groovy! You know what, this is like nobody... I always like to bring these in once in awhile just to remind people that this is the level of knowledge about current events. Nobody knows who Maduro is They don't know where Venezuela is and you get all worked up about a lot of this stuff and women go out and try to run over
the ICE agents and get shot, you know. Get over yourself! Well it's interesting because I have two clips... And I'm not fishing in your pond. They-I did get them off TikTok, I got them off TikTok. Uh and the first one you've seen this type of TikTok teacher but this is a lead into the second TikTok teacher and it explains a lot about your clip. Things that do not exist inside high schools anymore that i think might shock some people None of these things shocked me, but then on the internet I realized it was like oh people don't know this. Okay so now i have to share with you there are no textbooks. I did not know that people do not know this yeah No they don't-I've never-i have never seen a textbook This is my third year teaching high school
singular class. And what we're starting to see in education is everyone's like, I think we need to go back. We need textbooks like I love when I find a PDF that's from my textbooks. I found the most dangerous game. I was printing out for my ninth graders last year and I found a textbook version with questions on the side and I was like oh my God jackpot! Need that? Like I miss textbooks but like I remember having that in middle school. I remember having that in high school for a little bit. I graduated until I was 19 mind you I think that a lot of these things don't shock me because while i was in high school, that was kind of like when we were transitioning away from all these things that are now completely missing in high schools. The third thing there are not computer labs there's not a singular computer lab in this school mind you this is a brand new school those aren't necessary like all of our kids are one-to-one they all have their own chromebook We don't need a computer lab Like I remember being so excited to go to the computer lab especially elementary school by those computer lab days oh my god golden
Okay, I didn't actually know this. If i thought about it yeah, I know about chromebooks and schools...I didn't realize that there's absolutely no textbooks at all and from the sound of this teacher who by the way Teacher you should be able to speak for at least a minute without having to pause after every sentence To restart the recording? That says a lot about you! Were you aware that there's absolutely no textbooks in school anymore? I mean, I know I'm a boomer. I find it hard to believe well It turns out it's true Just asking around Even though you're in colleges There's plenty of textbooks because the professors make you buy their book yes Yes this is true so in middle school high school it seems that there's In and then maybe a generality but
For sure, I know that Google spent an exorbitant amount of money and we followed all this. It started with Common Core and the whole ushering it... Apple used to have kind of the market for schools they had a whole K through 12 program and they would fund the computer labs and they put Macs in there and people could learn how to use a computer. No! That apparently has just gone by the wayside. And I'm sure people will say, we have textbooks in our school but it doesn't sound like a lot of schools have them anymore and i found this TikTok teacher who he says that what you're seeing on the Jesse Waters show the complete lack of knowledge of anything other than I got blackout drunk and I dated a guy I hated
Is because of the Chromebooks. I have been teaching for 25 years, i've watched education change evolve reinvent itself and on more occasions than i'd like to admit education has chased shiny nonsense and from experiencing all of that i'm going to say this as clearly as i possibly can chrome books are killing education And this is not coming from some technophobic teacher clutching a chalkboard! I teach K through 8 computer science, I believe in technology I have taught kids to code, debug, use Google Docs, Google Slides, Google Classroom, Google Problem Solve and Create. I remember when computers were a privilege not a pacifier and i feel like that is really the difference right now Chromebooks were supposed to be tools instead they have become crutches and babysitters digital worksheets with
better branding. We have handed kids screens before they could even hold a pencil properly and we act shocked that attention spans have evaporated and frustration tolerance has hit zero I've watched students who can swipe tap and close pop-ups with Olympic level speed but can't write a paragraph to save their life or follow multi step directions or sit with the problem without instantly asking is there video for this? Paper slows the brain down in a good way. Pencils create the friction that thinking needs books require patience, stamina and imagination screens train kids to expect instant answers dopamine hits an endless stimulation and then we wonder why school feels boring and hard don't even get me started on kindergartners with chromebooks five-year olds do not need personal laptops they need
scissors and crayons and blocks and conversations, and play a whole lot of it. Developmentally screens are skipping steps, and those skipped steps are now showing up as behavior problems anxiety and academic gaps later And here's the irony because there is always irony We killed the computer lab in the name of one-to-one devices and in doing so we killed actual computer skills Kids do not know how to type properly they don't understand file systems They don't know how computers fundamentally work. They just know how to click next or scroll up Let's bring back the computer lab make technology intentional again teach kids when to use tech Not just how chromebooks should be a tool used sometimes with purpose
Not the default for everything. Education does not need more screens, it needs more thinking, more writing, mor reading, more hands-on learning and more human interaction I have seen what school looked like before this experiment and i'm watching the fallout now This isn't nostalgia speaking here this is 25 years of teaching experience It's beyond time to course correct especially before we raise a whole generation fluent in apps but illiterate in focus Man, I thought that was good. That was good! I give you credit for digging it up and taking my spot on the TikTok report. Yeah yeah...I think is point to point that I got out of it which I didn't think about
was getting rid of computer labs because when they had computer labs, they would actually teach you how to use a computer. How they worked, how the processor integrated with memory. You knew how file system worked and how desktop worked and how there's fact is that there's memory that's permanent and there's memory that's temporary and all that stuff works together and now they don't teach anything! People don't have a clue. Okay it's in cloud or whatever that is I dunno I just scroll and there's another picture of the watch. I still think it would be a great idea to get... kids, get your Chromebook here is the thumb drive now install Linux on it
I think you can do that. I don't think so. I mean a Chromebook runs on a version of Linux anyway, doesn't it? But you want to... let me see Can I install... There you go ask the AI. ...on Linux on a Chromebook! I'm actually asking Kaji. Kaji man, Kaji Yes set up Linux on your Chromebook Google actually has a help document for it How about that? Okay, so they hook it up and you can install that. Well because you get a real idea of how it works. Yes. Yeah I mean... I think is to get rid of the Chromebooks to begin with and use a real computer. Okay. Install Omarchi. Omarchi! That's the hot new Linux operating system. Omarchi
Oh, have you heard of it? Omarchy. No I have not heard of it. Why is it so good? Well software developers in particular are installing it on their Macbooks It's OMARCHY because it redefines the whole idea of the user interface and its all with uh, very simple keyboard commands using mainly the super key or the command key or whatever it is on your keyboard. Um, and all that irritating stuff about how windows are always getting in the way and you have to move the window over here and there's no menu bars. The whole thing just works exactly how your brain thinks this it's I'll send you a video
It's run me a video. I'll send you a video so you can learn about our Marchi it and it's built on Arch Linux, it's really is really phenomenal and Funny enough believe it or not Some people have been talking to they have figured out away. I can't wait for this. I just don't have the time To make the Roadcaster work with it And I've been wanting to get off of this Windows machine for the show for the longest time decade At least. And so, but I need time. The show takes up all my time! People are like this is a great podcast it has everything and millions of clips listen to it! Time codes are useful people... So yeah
I found that to be very eye-opening. That's horrible! Yeah, five year olds need scissors! They do! And they need to run with them! Scissors are good blunt not pointed scissors. Run with them and crayons right on the wall yeah this is good stuff exactly Exactly what that means another kind of a screwball report that just came out and I thought it didn't get a lot of play in the mainstream But I think it's kind of important. This is the visa bonds have you heard about this visa bonds? Yeah, you haven't heard about this. No! Travelers from several countries will now need to pay up to a $15,000 bond to enter the U.S.. It's meant to deter them from overstaying their visa when they're here for tourism or business The State Department has just added 25 more countries to this list including Venezuela Cuba Nepal Nigeria and others
That brings the total to 38 countries. Officials say that these are countries with high rates of visa overstays, insufficient screening and vetting and those that don't require proof of residency to obtain citizenship so travelers from those countries are going need to pay the US Treasury anywhere between $5,000-$15,000 The amount will be determined during their visa interview And that money will be returned to the traveler if they don't overstay their visa This comes as federal authorities are cracking down on illegal immigrants, including those that came in legally but then overstayed their visa. Great idea! Long overdue... Big fan! Great! Now of course no one has 15 grand but then you get a financing guy in the middle so you'll pay like 100 bucks and You have a bondsman it's like a bail bondsman Exactly! You probably will have to pay 10%
$150 for the 15,000. It's a great idea that we should I remember when Tina and I were in New York this is going back awhile i can't remember what this must be eight nine years ago And we were talking to this waiter or a server in an Irish pub, I think. He was Irish which is kind of fun and we're talking chatting it says you know so when did you get here? So I got here about eight months ago Oh, this is yeah, I'm working here illegally don't don't wrap me out. I'm like well This is the problem. This is a problem You can't overstay your tourist visa for this
You know, do it properly. Like yeah people like that you know as much as I like the guy but he has every opportunity to do it legally. Get yourself a Trump platinum card. You got a million bucks no problem! No I think this is a good idea now it's not going to be from the EU But it'll be from some other countries. Yeah, well I looked at the list is mostly Africa and pieces of Asia, some South America. What's the latest on the H-1B visas and all that nonsense? There's no news! Because I read somewhere there was like
There's all kinds of scams people are uncovering. There's like Human body mills essentially oh yeah, there has to be where you know they just you know here Here's no and by the way. You know they all look the same. Yeah, this is your picture now? You're not this guy Now you got this h1b visa shut up and get back in your cot now It's a mess we got a lot of problems. We gotta let you know we got a lot of problems I But we're still the best country in the world. I can say that hands down having lived in a couple of them What do you think? Yeah, I think so. I would have finished off this segment with little sports talk
Okay. You have any clips left? Yeah, I got tons but it's okay we're running out of time here so is this Seahawks? So for people who like to bet on the Super Bowl uh-huh we're getting to the end but i found an interesting coincidental index which indicates a Seahawk should be in the Super Bowl whether they win or not another question and And here's the reason. Yeah, paper's prop. You like the alliteration? I do! And we do have a few more people to thank that gave us $50 and above and Adam will go through the list starting right now

Okay, well then I relent and i'll give you the wowie. Wow. Wow. Wow. Wow. We wow. Wow Thank you very much, but we're not going anywhere first it's time for john's tip of the day And sometimes All right, well we've been trying to keep things low-priced. I don't like to bring in you know We had people complained about us recommending a TV It was a good idea for people who need to know if people needed a TV it was a great idea yes Well, I got another expensive item here oh Okay $299 well that's up there
Now I recommend if people haven't moved to these high-density hard disks, I'd say start now because this is doesn't even... it's not even a bare drive. This is in one of the enclosures. This is a 22 terabyte Seagate drive. Holy moly! I need this Yes you do $299. These high-density Seagate drives have been out for about three or four years. What does high density mean? That means it's got more than 20 terabytes! Oh, okay I thought it was something special...I didn't understand Well it is special because 299 bucks what you used to pay
I remember when i was a kid, I got the dumbest comdex. And I forgot what hard disk company one of the hard... Mac Store or Prairie Tech or one of these guys that is long since out of business this was way back and in this when the 9 terabyte drive first showed up. I'm sorry let me backup The nine gigabyte drive first showed up on the market. Hold on hold on 1987 I bought I think it was a Seagate external SCSI connected drive for my Mac plus. It was $299 for 20 megabytes. So this guy says, that sounds right? Yeah! So this guy says to me if with nine gigabytes just they're all started coming out these nine gigabyte drives
and there was about $299, and it was like the guy... One of the companies out of business. says to me, I don't know what these guys are thinking. Who's going to trust nine gigabytes on one spindle? That's the exact quote. Yeah well you get the heads touching that disc, you're screwed! So you got your 9 gigabytes, oh it's too risky so now we have 22 terabytes Now do you have one of these? No no i have an 18 but i'm getting one of these now because i looked at over all the reviews and everything this is a
The thing is that when they had the 18s which were nice They were bare drive. So you had to buy one of the enclosures or you have to put it in Oh, yeah No You don't want that? That's a pain while I do if you have the enclosures and the closers are okay Yeah, and how big is this thing? How big is it? It's at three-and-a-half 3.5 inch drive. It's small Is it does it has like a case around it as a case? Yeah, it just did with the connector just put in a Yeah, USB 3.0 connector on it and you're ready to go It's a beauty And $299 22 terabytes Don't fool around Let's start here and we'll go from there I highly recommend it The Seagate high... High capacity I shouldn't use high density because that is confusing The high capacity Seagate drives are dynamite Well you kind of had me at high density Now you're like pulling back It was high capacity That's not the same thing
It is to me. There it is ladies and gentlemen, find all of them at noagendafund.com and tipoftheday.net!
